This game is almost perfect, but maybe next time try to draw in a bigger resolution, or maybe don't let the game to change the resolution to screen size, because it made the great visuals a little bit pixely. The only downside for me at scoring was the dev time. Overall great game!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the game ^^ About the images, I drew the original images with high resolution but it made Godot crash for some reason so I reduced them a lot in the final game, that's definitely something I'll try to understand better for next time :P

This game was short, but it felt like going on a little adventure! Collecting the pages, playing the tune and watching the sun calm down as I played felt really special; the visuals and audio were both excellent as well!

Developer

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it :)

Very cool! Maybe add some kind of puzzle to it. Now the right order of notes was just given but maybe this could be something to figure out and be rewarded for. Well done! :-)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I'm happy you like it :) There is definitely something missing for it to be a real game, some kind of puzzle that requires exploring to find the right order of notes could be fun :D

Beautiful experience! Everything fits great together.  Controls felt nice, the jump animation and efficiency was pretty crazy :D This is cool game idea to expand. It would be fun to play short music melodies with given notes to unlock new notes and places.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I think controls took me most of the dev time, I'm glad it was worth it even if it broke my timer xD Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

Super lovely, the colors are very well chosen, the art works and the music mechanic is very novel! So congrats on an amazing submission. I can imagine an expanded game following the same ideas being super fun.

Just a gameplay nitpick: you can get softlocked if you don't pick up the first notes and you cross the big "rock". There's no way to go back to get the missing ones.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! And yes I noticed the softlock too after I submitted the game, but I was too lazy to fix it xD

Everything was perfect, especially the drawings in background and the audio... The character and its animations are matching with the theme of the game well!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I spent way more time than I should have on the musics and character controls so I'm glad it was worth it :)

Wow, this was serene bit of work for a game jam game! Color choices were great and the music notes made for the perfect lullaby. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely recommend this to a friend to check out too!

(BTW, I tried it on Firefox and everything seemed to play fine for me)

Developer(+1)

haha xD thank you for saying that! I'm glad you liked the atmosphere I tried to make with this one :P

(And thank you for the feedback on Firefox, I don't know, it's probably just my broken computer then, I didn't count how many times it crashed when I was doing the game jam :') )
