I like the idea! For now, I feel like there should be a faster and better way to get your health back than running around avoiding enemies. The movement also needs some adjusting, because now it feels a bit too floaty.
Yeah, I've moved away from using physics acceleration based movement to make things more precise and predicatable, as this was a complaint I got from some of my testers as well.
So challenging :) And not enough health regen
I also like the map of the game. It's messy enough to get lost in but easy enough to navigate
Great take on jam theme, I love it!
Thanks!
Can't complete it :( - those ranged bastards.
Well, blame the player, not the game. It fits the theme well and I'd be up for more of this. (Maybe add an easy mode just for me )
Well done!
Thanks! I've honestly been re-working the AI of the enemies to be more fair. After the Judging is done I'm gonna push out a version that has more rogue-lite features and better AI (Including the ranged enemies not shooting when you get close, making it so that you can actually kill them consistently)
Nice, I'll add it to my follows and check it out when't it's done :)
Great job! Quite an original idea I must say. I think I encountered some collision bugs but nothing big.
I like the original idea. I haven't seen anything like it yet haha maybe because lighting yourself on fire doesn't just spring to mind! XD
Hard to start with but you get into the swing of things after dying alot....
Nice work
I intentionally went a little overboard on the difficulty to make this more fun to play, but I definitely am going to be tweaking things to make it more fair to the player (though hopefully still challenging)
hard :(
so complex
but love artwork gameplay sounds
Thanks, hopefully the next version I push out will be a little more forgiving
