Someone tries on models, and someone downloads them. Let's take a deeper look. The implementation of the theme at the end, the emphasis was on it, and not on the fact that it is a platformer. We will not create a jam in order to make AAA projects on it. Thanks for the feedback, but try to look at everything objectively.
Hey, I like the idea of being a hamster and going about your hamster life, but this is basically a platformer where life is reduced to one. Nothing bad in that per ce, but then again not very innovative.
I agree with previous comments about the too long die animation and frictionless materials. Now jumping against a wall behaves a bit strange, not how you would expect it to be on a platformer. Also spikes hitboxes are probably rectangular and hence you visually have clearance for the jumps but then you still die. Those colliders could be more accurate for a better experience.
One biggest minuses was the fact there was no simple restore point system. Now when you die you die and you start from the very beginning. I understand that "one life" is the idea, but still... It's not very fun if you die almost at the end.
Anyway, good job! Keep up the good work!

Death animation is a little bit too long, maybe have a key to skip it.

Try applying frictionless material to the player, so u can jump whilst touching walls with A or D.

Hitboxes are a bit strange, i clearly jump over spike to still be killed.

I love the death sound effect :D
It does respect the theme indeed ! So 5 stars there.
I loved the sounds effects. However yeah the gameplay was a bit poor and not that much fun.
Looking forward for your improvements in the next jam ! <3
