How did your team implement the focus (and optionally, the theme)?
Racing is implemented in a straightforward way, the cars are racing to the finish line. Escape is implemented in the main mechanic: the driver can escape from the car into another car to avoid crashing into obstacles and speed up the progression through the track.

Loved the realistic special ability sound .. And the music. And the game was super fun.
Managed to drive outside the lane a bit and then it was a bit less fun.

This was absolute chaos, I loved it. Switching between cars to progress is really unique, fantastic work.
The cooncept of switching between cars was really fun, the addition of different abilities kept me immersed for longer than I thought (my favourite was the chevy). This reminded me of a game named RAM (Random Access Mayhem) Great entry!

Tutorial are straightforward, but when there is a ton of cars, it was chaotic, I did not understand when I can switch of vehicle or not. Some distance involved ?

Yes, you can switch within a certain distance. The cars you can switch to have a white outline when you hover the mouse over them
