I loved the cute drawings in this! I felt the puzzle was great, although I did try to evoke electricity by rubbing the balloon on my head and instead evoked buffoon.
As the person who made it, I keep rubbing the balloon on my head too because it just feels right haha I think I'll def put this function in on an update.
Incredibly evocative and quietly potent work. Seeing those images transform from being on book covers to surrounding me in the big wide world felt warm and safe. I also liked how you brought in the theme very subtly through environmental design.
I'm a little torn over the multiple endings; as I felt like even though I chose to stay I would one day need to face those bigger battles. So perhaps forcing the player to confront them after the period of insular healing would have felt very healthy (and helped reinforce that that is the way out of such an issue, that you can't just isolate yourself forever).
The art style was gloriously coherent and fittingly tender. Although I did find the wealth of loading screens a little tedious.
It also took me a moment to put together the balloon and electricity; perhaps "spark" or "static" would have helped make that connection clearer?
Such an incredibly tender short experience, especially for three days.
I'd love if you'd check out my game as we took the theme in (somewhat) similar directions, and would love to know your thoughts.
Thanks so much for the feedback.
I def wish I had more time to put into the narrative and tweak many of the immersive features. This was only a solo project over a day and a half. Sadly, I wasn't available for the whole time and put together a rough idea that was floating in my head.
I will say that the ending that's currently in place has an implicit meaning which I wondered if it came across through the narrative. Mind you, I also wanted people to interpret the ending in their own way. This is why I'm finding feedback like this very helpful as it will help me build on those narrative skills a little more. So, thank you! :)
I def want to develop this further and build on the narrative.
ps - Your game sounds great! I'll play your game the first chance I get. I've been finding the apk games easier to play. The windows ones are a little more difficult for me at the moment.
love the art style and the 2d models! Looks super unique!
This game was incredible! The art was obviously stunning and really set the tone of the game so well! It felt like living in a kid’s imagination and it warmed my heart <3 <3 <3 You can really tell you put a lot in to this! Well done, very impactful!!

Loved the experience. Art style and assets were unique and thought provoking!
The atmosphere, assets and room were fantastic. However, I couldn't figure out the mechanics for proceeding further into the story.
I really like what you've with the interpretation of 'Small world', great use of the theme. Was a great experience took like into, and very cute. Job well done
This isn't just a game, it's an experience! Well done!
This is incredibly cute! I love the art and getting to hang out with all your little friends. I could sit in the cardboard plane and watch the fish all day.
The ambiance is really there. However It tooks me a lot of time to understand how to create the world. ^^
I like the assets, I really felt felt his experience through the world and also in the room with books, drawings,.. Nice job !
