Awesome! You made a genuine VR run and gun in 9 days. The difficulty progression felt great, every gun felt fun to use, and the abundance of levels made this really replay-able. The constant switching from weapon to weapon was a really fun mechanic and use of the theme. I think you have each of them just long enough to feel like you didn't waste it if you missed. The movement felt great, especially the climbing. I did get stuck a couple of times, but it was never hard to get unstuck. Great job all around.
Good game. Got stuck once but then didn't stop me from having a good time
That's a relief 😅
Which part did you get stuck on? We weren't sure if we made it too difficult/confusing for first time players.
Fun to play I loved the shotgun, got stuck when got to the left part of the second level idk if im missing something, also with the movement i suggest leaving some space for jumping where it doesnt do continous move turn, got a little motion sick from the small turns when jumping.
Overall it was a good expirience. Reminded of the name of my game when I saw it.
Yeah we do have a deadzone option in our turning system, but it's a little bit of polish that we forgot to configure before the time limit was up ):
There's an exit door in the second level that requires all enemies to be killed before it opens, but it's a little tucked away on the other side of the room.
I had the same feeling with the jumps, sometimes it was a bit hard not to turn (but i'm not too experienced with the controllers). The rest was fantastic though, awesome job! I like the variety of guns and enemies, and that they move and feel quite alive (or quite robotic). Particles were also pretty
Love the movement!!
Thanks! Means a lot from a VR interaction dev c:
Really surprise how this fast-paced shooter has no motion sickness at all :) Nice job and super fun to play!
Thank you!
Incredibly fun and fast-paced
The controls are weird at first but you gett the hang of it after about one level, after that it feels really cool just force grabbing guns and jumping all over the place.
We're glad you liked it!
Well done!
Thanks (:
Just one word, kaboom!
Pure action through, love it! The React game was def my favorite. Amazing how many enemies and weapon types you made. Even different physics for the bullets!
Thanks! The enemies were fun to make. Enemies are just rigidbody physics and cross products. The bullets all use raycasts with a basic particle simulation. Each gun has different properties enabled on the component to make them feel unique.
Glad you enjoyed it (:
You basically described game dev, and that doesn't make it less impressive what you managed to create in a week 😀👌
Love the style and that extra gun twirl is always a plus in my books!
Thank you, we hoped it would give it a little more pizzazz (:
