I love the katamari damacy feel with how the ball gets larger as you go through the levels. It's a little rough around the edges (which I'm sure you know) at the end of the game when you win. But, the concept is really cool, and it looks straight out of the cartridge for an N64 game.

This was fun and I love the art style, I was hoping there was more when I got to the end!

I'd be interested in seeing what other mechanics could work, like launchers for the cheese sack or some sort of Rupe Goldberg esque contraptions.

I bet this could work well with some co-op dynamics too where you have to pass the sack back and forth between areas while one person controls the environment the other one is in or something

I love this! It's short an simple, but the graphics are nice and it feels really good to move around. The only things it's missing are some audio, and more levels!

I couldn't play on my MacBook Air 2017 in Chrome :(

Great job, it was fun and I really like the visual. The katamari game style is a good idea.

I just have some issue with the character maintening is speed after getting caught. The camera is a little bit slower and my character ended up being to fast. I also have no sound on chrome (windows 10), is that normal ?

Overral, great job and great concept

Developer

Yeah all normal. I didn't add any sound to the game, I will be coming back to this after the game jam and I'd like to make a full prototype of other things for a full vertical slice of what a demo might look like. I was aware about the camera being slower than the character at top speed, but I'd have to come back and fix that and the speed after getting caught.

Thanks for giving it a go!

The game doesn't seem to launch on Firefox 108.0.1 (64-bit), MacOS Monterrey. Do I need some specific setup?

Developer

Oh yeah, I see what you mean. I had only tested on Chrome and that worked for me, but I can see Firefox does not load the game.
