How does your game relate to the theme?
The main aspects how polarity is used comes from the way the player moves. Through pulling and pushing on planetary bodies and other objects.
This polarity is part of the players movement kit.
Two opposites in one object.
In addition the opposing effects of slow and fast is another ability of the player. Slowing time during certain moments.
See for yourself how it feels to Break Planets :D

controls and looks are cool. nice game!.. did not knew what was going on at first but enjoyed the smashing into objects. did not expected to appear from the opposite direction when comet goes out of the screen. good stuff manβ¦
The solar system looks so cool!
Awesome Job.
I like the control scheme, I could imagine using it in other spaceship games too.
Like a spaceship warship game that mimics old navy tactics and you are trying to give the enemy a full on sci fi broadside attack but rather than wind dictating maneuvers it planetary bodies and anomalies.
Thanks for playing!
Damn. You got a nice idea there. I like it.
Not sure how the ship rotation would be handled though. Because currently my spaceship has no real front and back.
How would you turn with pulling and pushing?
mmm maybe as its space you could have a thruster that rotates the ship. It wont change the inertia of the ship just spin it. Maybe the smaller ships in the fleet could also slingshot around the larger ships / stay in orbit and that way you could move an entire fleet just by moving the largest "slingshot" ship. Game over could be when one side loses thier huge ship.
This is so unique, I love it! I wish the tutorial text was on a separate screen, as when I started clicking around I couldn't slow down enough to read the text. Great job on this though!
I fully agree with you. Some of my friends mentioned that to, but only after everything was done :D.
I definitely need to work on my tutorials.
Thanks for playing and sharing feedback <3
It's sort of like Snake, but also nothing like Snake. Movement is very fun. The solar system looks awesome.
The mini-map is a bit small and hard to read. And the music is a bit repetitive.
Overall a great game! Took me 365 seconds to beat it for the first time.
Thanks for playing. Great time! The minimap does to scale correctly with screen size :(.
Regarding the music. I totally agree with your assessment. In my head I imagined something else with more speed and maybe some techno side. But as you know. There is never enough time.
Thanks for your feedback!
Really cool art style! I could not figure out how to play lol.
Thanks for playing. What did you struggle with?
