I loved the music and the clever level design. It’s fun to play around it and it’s an absolute blast to play, especially with the music. Keep up the good work.

You asked to be gentle in your opening screen so I shall ;) so, first of all props to you for finishing your first game and submitting it to the jam! That is something to be proud of. For the future, a few things will help to make your games more and more exciting - if the player has no challenge other than painstakingly looking for a flag, there is not much fun because he doesn't risk anything. I hope you will also be able to learn more about adding game feedback and feel (particle effects, screen shake), because those things take a game from good to great!
Thank you for the feedback. I agree with most of it. At the moment I don't know anything about effects and screenshaking, and of course the game suffers from it. I plan for my next project to learn more about them.
With the spike section I feel like I'm discauraging the player to use it in the right way. The health bar makes it more confusing as well.

Very cool! You can add progress bar to the top down shooter part or let players know that there's no end game (not sure if there is). If it's your first game ever - I'm amazed! Really good job. Spikes are very creative!
I originally planned more levels, but I run out of time. That's why there is no text during the topdown shooter
Figuring out how to get past the spikes took a lot longer than I'd like to admit. It was pretty funny encountering all of those beginner mistakes. Good job
Yeah, I was afraid about that. The hint was really subtle, and for a platformer it's not common to turn around and go backwards

Jonas video inspired me to end with a topdown shooter. As he said, if we don't have any better idea, just make a shooter and it's good for everything :D

As a developer myself, I have to admit, I burst out of laughing when I saw the lives going at -1. Like all those little mistakes you can do when you first try to make a game ! I really liked it.

Pretty fun! Bouncing on the spikes was fun, jumping infinitely was fun, and I like the sort of wackiness of the game overall. Good job! I feel like the flung by spikes thing in the game could also be expanded on for a bigger game that has it as the main core.
I worried that it would be too hard for the players to use it. I dont have signs and tutorial. The only hint is the warning from the narrator.
