Super fun game loop! And I love games with simplistic, geometric visuals.

I loved this game!  The controls felt great, the idea worked well, and I gotta be honest I'm a sucker for simple graphics for some reason lol.  Nice work!

Btw I'd love for ya to check out my game, if you don't mind :)  https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-2/rate/552768

Fascinating twist on something that we generally just take for granted - a health system. Wish I could jump with W or the up arrow. I prefer having the movement on one hand.

The way you can exploit the system is actually quite a lot of fun! Good job!

Thanks! I was chuffed when the idea hit me :p

See, the tutorial says "WASD or Arrowkeys" to move because I'd somehow managed to trick myself into thinking that I had made W or up arrow a jump.

Ah well, live an learn haha.

This is a very great game it could be cool if some enemies would heal the player instead of killing it as a lot of potential for a mobile game

Developer

Thank you! That's a really nice idea, actually... If I don't abandon this here I'll implement that for sure!

It's a really great game tbh! The only feedback I can give is that the music and the game goes a bit repetitive after some time playing! Afterall good job!

Developer

Thanks! Music really isn't my forte :p

I really liked the strategy behind this game, I thought at the start "Why would I ever want to lose health" but then after a few rounds I discovered the benefits of the trade off! The tutorial was also a really nice touch, as well as the camera shake animations! Overall, this is a great jam entry!

Nice one! Having trade offs are nice!

Fun little game. Visual pleasing even without a lot of over the top art. Sounds got a little repetitive though.

Fun game, couldn't find the bug myself tho.

If you manage to get to - 1 hp, you don't die :p ie, get hit by the bouncy guys twice in a row

It's a neat game!  The simple shape art looks great with the colors and particle systems.  I like the screen shake as well!  Keep working on it, it's fun.  Great job submitting a game~ Please check out my browser game when you can.

Great little fun game!

I wish there was more oomph to the bullets and a little more variety to the enemies.

But considering it’s a jam game, it’s a great game!

Thanks for such a fun little game!

Thanks so much! There are still a few kinks that need to be ironed out, but I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!
