Music Source
The music/ambience in my game are from the Unity Asset Store, from the asset "Horror Elements" by Anthon. I edited most of them to be at least slightly unique for my game.

Amazing polish. extremely satisfying game I love how you have to murder innocent beings!

Thanks for the feedback! ^^

I love murdering innocent beings so thanks for making this game

Wow, this was very solid. Interesting take on a topic of winning. The atmosphere was very good - graphics, color pallete, post-processing and sound design.

My only complaint is very small - the cursor and ability to shoot using mouse is kinda pointless and misleading.  Why include them if your character shoots in the direction he's facing? :p

Overall, this is a very solid entry, one of the best I've played on this jam. Great job :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  ^^ I was actually wondering when someone was going to bring that up.  I wanted the bullets to shoot in the direction of the cursor, but I didn't feel like I had the time.  I wanted the player to still shoot with the mouse button though (although you can still shoot with a key instead.)  Thanks for playing though! ^^

I love the look and sound of the game it was really cool. only issue was the speed of the player was a bit slow and I think i could have possibly benefited from a timer of some kind to make it feel more urgent to find the not sure what they would be called in this game but the shadows it wouldn't need to be a fast timer it could even be a like speed run timer just something to focus on improving making you want to keep playing. I hope what i said make sense I'm not the best at trying to explain stuff. The game was overall really cool.

Thanks for the feedback!  I get what you're saying.  It actually confirms my suspicions that I didn't portray the game correctly.  You actually lose by doing what the narrator is telling you, hence the game jam's theme.  I'll have to keep that in mind if I decide to fix it up a bit after the jam.  Thanks for playing! ^^

I like the overall feel of the game. You used the post processing very well, the story, the visuals, the levels, the ambience are good! Like the others, I also suggest to speed up the movement a little bit.

Amazing athomesphere :o I like  narrative games in gam jams and this was not an exception :D Like others said the only negative think i can say is the movement. Jumping is floaty and the player is sloww :/ Other than that the game is well made bravo :D

Note : I would be happy if you could check out my game as well :d

I thought it was a really well made and polished game! I did enjoy playing it although I agree a little with RNGames how it became a little repetitive, but maybe you could've added another enemy type that attacks you or something. Anyways, what you have made already is great and is still really fun to play especially for a game jam! Well done and nice job!

Thanks for the feedback!  ^^ Yeah, I meant for the enemies to be extremely easy, but I guess I ended up making it a bit too repetitive.  There is a way to lose (or win), but I intended it to be discovered by the player, which may have been a wrong move for a Game Jam.  Thanks for playing though! (and do ignore the number of edits I made to this reply xD)

Oh! Okay this actually surprised me! Nice story, nice gameplay, not a big fun of the jumping (it felt too slow and awkward), but overall a really good game!

✔️ Excellent theming. From the visuals (e.g. grain effect) to the sound (silence to strange music etc.) everything tied in very nicely with the narrative.

✔️ I also liked the dark story and the twist at the end.

➖ The gameplay was a bit repetitive, but this isn't that big of a problem for a narrative game.

Thanks for the feedback!  Unfortunately I can't take credit for the music/ambience, but thanks anyways!

I like it! the movement is a tad bit too slow but other than that great job!

Thanks! ^^

Atmosphere and everything is great in this game. Basically everything in this game was good... but as others have commented, the movement speed is a bit too slow. Other than that, nice job! Still a good game.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback!  Yeah, I'm seeing that movement speed is something I need to improve.

Submitted(+1)

Nice game, also has some nice soundtrack and ambience to it.

My only feedback is to dial up the speed a bit. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  And yeah, I'm beginning to see that slow movement is kind of a reoccurring issue in my games.  I'll have to get better at recognizing good speeds! ^^;

the atmosphere is so good, my only complaint is the movement is to slow, also is there any secret ending in this game? I feel like if I kill everyone I lost?

Developer (3 edits)

Thanks!  And yeah, there is.  :)

I enjoyed it! Really simple gameplay but still fun. I also like the art a lot, that redish color palette is amazing!

Thanks! ^^
