Cool game, tho at the start nothing happened so I just stood there running around for a minute or 2.
Then I think I got it to work after walking towards the gate.
The game is nice, took me a while to understand what to do, but was fun.
Good job!
You must have somehow slided past the door trigger haha
I love everything about this game, and I wasnt ready for your choice of sound design hhahahaha. How have you done it for the spectators? Is it an animation or a random motion ?
I had the spectators move from one point to another at a given speed for a given amount of time
I like the concept, but I can't figure out how to interact with the crates. This is very charming.
You can break the crates by being knocked back into them by the enemy
Its got good bones. the quips are funny to see. I think I broke something in the end game by spamming the dialog skip, I'm not just standing empty in the arena with nothing. its unfortunate the sounds doesnt work in the web.
The visuals are excelent! I liked the detail of the audience saying "Do they know they can use WASD to move?"
The only thing is that I ran into a bug after the first metal crate where the game played all the dialogs really fast, skipping fights in the middle, until it said "Let's test all the enemies at once" and it was a minute and half of no enemies.
Another thing is that I downloaded the Desktop version to test it better, and discovered that it did have sound. The browser version seemed to have not sound. I don't know if it was intended or not.
Disregarding that, the visuals are pretty good and the topic is on point.
Good job!
Great choice of aesthetic. I enjoyed the humor from the speech bubbles. Rounds felt a bit long after the basic goals where completed.
If you use up all your hearts then the round will end there, you don't need to wait for the timer to run out :)
Great game! Nice visuals too! A bit sad though that there is no sound. A suggestion I have would be to move the timer near the 'invincible warrior' so players wouldn't have to look back and forth between the warrior and the top of the screen. Also, one of the dialogues about the crate seems to be a bit broken. It has this -> <color#ffee45> (not exact btw) in between the words. Aside from those, overall, very fun and certainly very amusing!
There is sound in the downloadable version, I have no idea why they're not in the web version. And yeah the UI timer was scrapped together and the dialogue with the <color=#ffee45> text in it was a bug, had a misplaced hashtag haha. Thanks for playing!
I like the visuals of the game
Great visuals!
The speech bubbles were fun
I like the humor and i spend more time to read the public sentence than running away !
I really like the idea and the artstyle.
It starts of kind of slow, and the speech bubbles were repeating itself.
Please continue with this project, it has a lot of potential!
Very nice game, enjoyed playing it!
i couldn't figure out how to open the crate
You have to get hit by the enemy so you get knocked back into the crate to destroy it
I am trying to summmerise. The speechbubblse are wrong and the countdown it over them so you can't read anything. I was just running into the enymies and this was just boring but I think this concept has a lots of potential
I didn't have the time to properly polish the UI layout unfortunately, I was too busy trying to get the actual gameplay working and well that ended up taking too long too...
Love the humble graphics! Its true that the game is very buggy but i managed to complete the game after all. The message that the game leaves, loved it. Really cool game!
Thank you for playing! Yeah unfortunately ran out of time since the first 12-ish hours was wasted on another idea, but glad you liked it!
A very cute game. Nice idea and I like the little ending message. I really enjoyed this one^^
Thanks for playing! Did you manage to get through all the levels then, or did it glitch out?
Well, the only thing that was a bit off, was that I pressed enter to speed up the text, the textboxes stayed the same size even when there were more lines of text. BUt nothing to freak out about^^
