Really cute visuals and really over the top amount of polish. Only thing I feel that you could have added a little bit of that "game juice" (screenshake, more particles, postprocessing etc) since the game can look a little static at times. But the artstyle definitely makes up for that so no worries :D Also I didn't really grasp whether or not you followed the jam theme, but that's not essential so it's ok. Good luck with your projects :D
Also I forgot to mention that it took me a while to figure out the fact that i can rotate the tool selection with the mouse wheel, maybe the tutorial could have been a little bit clearer (sorry if I sound like I'm criticizing you too much please don't take it personally I'm just trying to give you constructive feedback with the best of intentions :) )
game jam theme 'failure is progress'
in this game you need to fail to find the legendary treasure (in the levels) - even if the game says that you won you actually lost.
So in my opition the jam theme is exactly followed.
Lovely visual art style.
Nice music and fun to play.
Maybe some extra explanation what to do would help, but it was fun and entertaining to play :)!
I also like this game a lot and agree with whak Vizipokemon said: At the beginning it is not clear what is expected. And there should not be a fall back to level one. After all, it is a well made puzzle game, the theme feels like just put on top of it and does not help to make the game more interesting. So I suggest to keep on polishing the game after the jam and just get rid of the treasure hunt where you are not allowed to get the treasure.
Having said that: from a philosophical perspective you did it very well, winning is easy, but loosing is the actual fun. In this way: perfect for this jam :-)
Super nice game with really good visuals, animations and sound.
My only problem is that it is not intuitive. On the very first level I found the gold and almost quit the game, because I thought, that I finished the game. Also it was really annoying, that I messed up the 3rd level and the game restarts from the beginning :/
Aside from being unintuitive it was a really nice game, great job! :)

I love how this game really makes me feel like I don't want to win, because I don't want the puzzles to end. Maybe the most on topic game I've played so far. The game loop is solid, not just a cheap twist on existing formulas and therefore: fun! Great job, loved it!

Nice puzzle game, with efficient concept. I like hexagons, too much perhaps.. humm ! It took me some time to understand that the centre of the tool must not be empty. Otherwise music is great, puzzle works well. Great job.
Nice visuals, especially in 72 hours, but I found the UI/menu a little confusing. When I finished the first level and seemed to only be able to restart, I almost thought I'd played the entire game. :P
I really dig the visuals. Pun intended! It gets really complicated when I have to start all over when I screw up. Also maybe don't put you won on the screen when you didn't. I first thought the game is literally 5 seconds long.
Nice puzzle-game, i wished to be able to restart when i lose. I guess it makes you more carefull when digging and that'sprobably not a bad thing. Good job !

What i noticed -it's not bad thing btw, just a feedback - maybe you could encourage player to try again and tell him there are some more level or something , so dumb player like ME won't think "oh this is just a short game,that's it" ...
By the way, Coongrats on you first submission...we are on the same page,my first JAM as well!
Its a really nice game, just makes me feel a little dumb X), I enjoyed the shovel becoming other shapes, really built up the challenge!
just for info:
- every level is solvable
- there are 11 levels :)
- every level has a retry button (only available before you 'win')
- the browser version somtimes 'hides' text - sorry for that
Cool game with nice music
Thats a reall nice puzzle game, i've got until the fourth level, is there really a solution, I spend like 15 min with my pickaxe and my shovel lol.

This is the way too tough for me lol. I got past the first couple and I guess I'm not so good at puzzles like these... However there is a bug that lets you get past most of the levels pretty easily, and yet it was still tough with it. I liked the small story of it but some of the text is behind stuff nothing important though. The isometric view and the selection of the tiles felt really smooth and looked fluid. Overall nice job!
This was interesting. I almost thought it was an unfinished game lol. It was a little confusing that you could use the center squares twice. It would have been nice to know how many levels were left to go.
I absolutely love the visuals in the game. Really cool looking and fun!
