Even though I don't feel like I win because of skill i like putting my own creation into the arena. The music really helps here and that the game feels ultra polished with animations and everything. Best designed title screen in this jam btw

It's so satisfying to destroy those machines and finding what kind of item I got after each round.

This game is so fun and good. I wonder why it has few ratings. One thing to note is that the enemy is pretty dumb and we can easily beat them again and again. So you should make the enemy stats stronger after each fight or something.

Great art and the game is really polished! I love how juicy it feels! I don't really see how it fits the theme though. Also the instructions could be a bit clearer, but great work regardless!
Thanks, yeah the theme is a bit vague, when you control the robot you have to be careful not to damage it otherwise its gonna be mad and you gain new parts for it when you play good. Its got AI and some AI interaction but it can barely be called a collaboration.

This has an INSANE amount of polish! The main menu introduces the game in such a beautiful way, love the music, love the slowly more chaotic battles with the powerful movement in such a tight space, LOVE IT!
Also props for using love2d, if that's what you used.. Low level frameworks ftw!

Yeah i used Love2D, but i had some premade scripts for basic stuff like particles and collision!
I sadly only got a black screen and music when starting the game, but hey, the music was cool!

I like how there are so many combinations to modify your robot👏 I think it would be cool to make a campaign mode where you fight pre-made robots with different skills🤔It would be hard though. This is really nice game for 3 days. My score is 19, is this good?

Really well made game with an interesting and fun idea! I'll probably return to it a couple of times when i'll want to quickly have some fun and move on, tho the only issue is it isn't that on topic. Besides that tho, its still a really good game

The idea was that you earn fame and the robot earns parts if you do good so you kinda collaborate, ik thats very vague and its one of the last things we implemented so its definitely gonna hit the topic score hard.

Good polished game about building battle vehicles.
Gameplaywise it's not fitting the theme for me but the game as such is really good.
I love mechanic of losing permanently parts of equipment.. very nice touch!
Also I like the graphics.. simple and very readable. Color-coding done right!
As an aside.. most of the time enemies were just rushing into the random corner I'm not sure If I could kill them without a gun in situations like this. Also I couldn't grab music/sound bars.. I could make sound quieter but not louder.
Yeah theme fitting was a bit rough as we did it on the second last day so it strays a bit off.
Yeah you can hit enemies going into the corner, that would be very inconvenient, because the AI isnt the smartest and it could easily end up somewhere else because it doesnt really know it has a rocket engine on itself.

Reminds me of one of my favorite mobile game , CATS . Quality is pretty good and gameplay is really fun but i dont see how it fits the topic
Thank you for the feedback! We think the game fits within the topic because you, the player, build an AI to destroy other AIs, you don't want your AI to get hurt so you control it to destroy its enemies, you help it, you collaborate with it, you control the AI and the AI kills the enemies.
ok, i get it now , it wasn't obvious in the gameplay ,for me at least ,maybe you could have explained the narrative a bit better, you should definitely add some explanation to the game page.
