Thanks!I added elevation kinda last minute using the unity terrain system so movement and shooting hadn't been designed with it in mind . I also tried doing voxels initially with magica voxel but quickly found it's time intensive and I am not good at it 

Thanks ! I knew weapon throwing was a bit buggy and bullet height was poorly implemented but being solo I didn’t have time to fix them , I was implementing core mechanics mere hours before submission because things were much more complicated than I thought .

Oh , enemies have only 1 Hitpoint , but you need to use the right weapon(see game description ) , I didn't have time to make a tutorial so I understand your confusion .

I was thinking stronger thrusters or exponential acceleration . Also some visualization for thrust direction 

Honestly it was remarkably entertaining , kept me till the end.

Really satisfying to play , you certainly didnt overscope (; and it shows , the difficulty and time are tuned perfectly and the core mechanics work flawlessly.The narration was also great.The only thing i have to suggest is maybe capping max scale more because i skipped large parts of the final levels with just one really big object. I finished it in 7minutes and 1 second Top marks!

Love the artstyle and music . I had some trouble moving towers and resizing though . Made it to level 20.

Smart idea!Adding more enemy damage states (or less HP) would really help the player .Also having an option for mouse controls would be nice , i didnt end up using the dash .

Cool/simple idea , great graphics. Path prediction and some movement tweaks would make it much more enjoyable.

Haha, Thanks!The chill guitar loop certainly contributes to that vibe ,my friend didn't have enough time to make another track.

Really smart idea , I have tinkered with similar mechanics in the past and I understand how difficult it must have been to program  .Adding some obstacles would have improved gameplay since I just ended up minimizing all asteroids and directly shooting the planets, obstacles would force the player to interact with the gravity fields .

Amazing! The animations and art style are really creative and well executed and the gameplay is really fun ,top marks . My only issue is with controls , maybe using the mouse would have made it a bit easier  .If this had controller support and Improved UI it could very well be a fully fledged game .

Really impressive for 96 hours . Great physics , great controls , very fun , charming graphics .Top marks! Maybe make some of the obstacles a bit easier , I started getting frustrated at some point.

Beautiful graphics and clever game design .I managed to get softlocked with glitched library near the button on the start of level2.

Great use of free assets ! Very unique idea ,I got ~230m. key bindings and a snapping system would have been nice .

The art and music is amazing!I initially struggled to get used to the controls but eventually I got the hang of it 

Cats are indeed liquid .Cool game , nice level design , maybe instead of an automatic slider it would have been better to use a keyboard key or the mouse wheel for changing scale.Keep making games !

Addicting , I got 102points. A great idea very well executed . Charming art and perfect polish ! Reminds me of some old flash and mobile games from many years ago .

Thanks for the kind words! I don't usually do 3D modeling so I am glad you liked the visuals, it's an art style I picked up from my previous game jam game. I do kinda regret doing 3d since a lot of development time was spent doing particles, 3D movement and animations , will definitely go 2D next year.

i forgot about that , well I guess the latest 2022LTS is best . 

I also think there should be a theme but I am not sure i can trust the blackthornprod team to come up with a good one .Themes actually tend to make more unique games and also block already made games from entering but a bad theme can ruin the jam 

Use unity LTS 2022 to avoid people having to constantly download new unity versions

Chaotic, pretty neat

neat , seems a bit glitched though.

It seems the webgl build is bugged ,but the idea is intresting.

bit glitchy(games where you move the level are prone to bugs and are hard to develop ) but neat idea .Its actually similiar to the game we ended up developing and we even initially called our character steve ,always happy to se a fellow npc steve.

Addicting. I played till the level with the guy rushing at you .

Love it ! Maybe a penalty for missing the shots would have been good since i just found myself always clicking . Also it wasnt clear you can move when the ai is shooting at you . apart from that its great .

Fun Gameplay. Funny art. Maybe Difficulty scaling could be a bit faster , People in game jams have short attention spans ,or maybe it is just me .

Neat!Very enjoyable and very well polished. Improving the targeting and adding more variation to attacks would go a long way to making it even better
