I liked the puzzles in the first two levels and the concept for the last level
I only suggest that there be checkpoints in the last level cause it is quite difficult
That's our design choice to make it not too easy
Good puzzle designs. I really liked the visuals and audio too. Good job! :)
The art work and sound effects for this game are wonderful! Love this simplicity! Nice work!
Thanks!
I love visuals and sound. Also puzzles were fun and simple, but collisions are glitchy and there is not enough juice for movement. But overall, this is good game that needs a little polishing.
Very nice game, i just found it to short...
Nice work!
(Spoiler warning for people who haven't played it yet)
Honestly my thought at the last level was probably unironically "Oh hey, my companion is now gone and there's an evil robot that looks the same, what a coincidence! " lol
Fun short game, the concept is surely interesting and would allow for interesting puzzles if developed further: for now, the three levels are very simple and the game doesn’t overstay its welcome, so good job on that! ^-^
The visuals are simple but quite nice, and same goes the sound design. Controls-wise it gets the job done, though there are some problems with collision detection: if you keep pressing an arrow button while against a wall the character keeps compenetrating it and getting pushed away, even when not touching the ground (if I understand correctly it is because of your use of transform.Translate for movement, using Rigidbodies or checking if touching a wall with a Raycast will probably fix the issue).
Had a fun time overall and the twist in the third level was pretty unexpected, so keep it up!
You are right about using the transform.Translate, and I tried to use raycasting to make it so you couldn't stick to the walls.
Thanks for the great response!
I liked the game quite a lot! Although the deaths were sometimes a bit too unforgiving with how far back they could set you.
speedrun timer would add a lot
i thought about it, but we couldnt add it mid jam unfortunately
ok, cool. i hope you upload a full version!
We'll see if there will be a full version someday
wowieeeeeee! amazing game! (Thanks for rating my game)
I like the twist but avoiding the rocket and robot is a bit frustrating with the loose platforming controls.
Fair critism haha
Short and sweet, and the twist of level 3 was a fun surprise. The puzzles were all very easy, but it was still quite fun.
Thanks for playing our game
I love this game! (vaguely similar to 'Will you snail')
Very polished, the story has me hooked. I want more! Who is the player and the robot? What happens next? And why are his arms absolutely huge? Very good graphics [I see, like any good game dev, you guys found the post processing and turned it up to max :)] The music really sets the tone and is just great! Absolutely fantastic work! (You could win it!)
My teammates actually didn't want that much post processing in the end boss fight, but I did it either way xD
I told you! 😂
Thank you soo much! As Sablified said, we told him to lower the amount of post processing lol
Definitely could have used more check points at the end -whew that was tough! xD Great work on this -the art and the puzzles were fun! Good use of the theme too and good plot twist at the end! -awesome work on this!! :D
Thank you! I will admit the end section is hard, but I didn't want the game to be too easy
understandable -it was still a fun challenge! :D
Thank you, and thanks for playing of course, the design choice without checkpoints is inteded to keep the skill level at least a little bit high
fun and love the puzzle to the platforming twist
Thank you very much for playing our game!
Fun Enjoyed The twist
Thanks
Cool game, I enjoyed it! The "Bossfight", was also a really nice twist. The Collisions was a bit unfair a times, but overall good game :D
Thank you for the great feedback!
I really enjoyed this game! I nearly got stuck at the end but I managed to finish the game. Loved the 'plottwist' as well!
Haha thank you! I get stuck in the end level everytime lol
Thank you! ;)
Pretty cool idea, but the movement could be improved so the player doesn't stick to the walls
Thank you! Unfortunately I didn't hat the source files on my computer so I couldnt fix that in the last hours
