thats a solid concept. But we gotta have more levels come on =)

I love the style! The SFX was a bit earsplitting and I felt like more than 2 levels would have been nice, but a wonderful concept!

Really cool concept and spin on the whole "Programming"-themed games. Could be cool to add more expressions to the game like loops or something like that. You could have obviously added more polish to the game, like Sounds when hovering over the UI or when inserting a disk, but there is only so much you can do in 3 days. So good job and good luck with your entry! 😄

Developer

Thx :D

We'll maybe make a post jam version, with a few additions, so I'll keep your ideas in my mind!

Nice little game!

Probably the saddest part is the length, because I really enjoyed this unique take on the theme. Of all of the "program an ai to move" games I found this one the most enjoyable. Since it felt like you had to just think more logically, instead of the many other games where you just have to predict the movement for the entire level.

Small additions like having all the Discs be viewable at the start of a level, so players don't have to spend their beginning time moving to see what everything does would be nice. I also think a designated "start" button would help, since sometimes the robot would move before I had finished creating all my instructions.

There is plenty of room here for growth, with obviously more levels and more command types, would be cool to see how complicated something like this could be.

Nice job!

Developer

Thx for the really nice and detailed review :D

We would have added more levels, but after I got the floppy disks system working the jam was nearly over. Overscoping is also one of the main reasons the game didn't got it's full potential.

I'll maybe make a post jam version, with more levels and maybe I implement some of your ideas!

I enjoyed this but there is only 2 levels

Developer

Thx!

We'll maybe add some more levels in a post jam version :)

Really do like this. Although there are only two levels, I think this is great because it means you didn't make more levels for the sake of making more levels- you introduced the mechanics, left it up to the player, and then focussed on making it visually pleasing rather than grinding more levels, which would've been the easy option. Very creative floppy disk mechanics though- I love the 'inserting' of the disks to start the logic.

Overall you two should be very proud of this submission! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thx :D

Although I'm a bit disappointed of the level amount myself. We focused on level on the last day (not the best decision of us), but we've tried to make the best out of the game we could in other parts in that time. It's nice to see that you noticed the work! Made my day :)

We'll maybe add some more levels in a post jam version!

Submitted(+1)

that would be amazing :D

Very short gameplay. Still liked it!

Developer

Thx! We'll maybe extend it a bit after the jam :)

Congrats! Impressive work of concept.

Developer

Thanks!

I like the concept of the idea, the game looks really polished and nice. The music is also pretty good. It's pretty easy to understand and how to play the game.

I feel like the game is really short. Wish that there were more levels in the game instead of just 2. Also, sometimes i coudn't fit in the floppies even if they matched color.

Overall, great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! We'll maybe make post jam version, where everything should be fixed :)

Short but fun game, The floppy disks didn't always enter properly but overall an enjoyable experience.

Developer(+1)

Thx :)

Funny enough, I had a very similar idea at the start of the game jam. You implemented it pretty well, however it feels extremely underdeveloped(which is understandable under the time constraints). The floppy disk don't always enter where I want them to, even though the colors are the same. The idea is also not explored in an interesting way.

Developer(+1)

Due to Overscoping the game hasn't really got the polish that I wanted :/
Overall I agree. There could be more levels, more Floppy disks and more cool stuff for the game. But if we decide to make a post jam version, these things should be fixed!

Developer

Thank you!

We'll maybe make some more after the jam :)

Great visuals! I'm sure with more levels you can go crazy with the concept! Also the music is really nice.

Developer

Thx!

Very good wish there was more!

Developer

Thank you! We'll maybe make more levles in a post jam version

Great game, the visual and the music is cool. But it needs more levels and the jump sfx is weird.

Developer(+2)

More levels are planned in a post-jam update, the idea we had was slightly overscoped and we didn't have time to implement in more floppy disc and more levels

Submitted(+2)

Missing levels asides, I didn't understand right away how to put the floppies in their slots. There is also a some weird audio behavior when you jump: the music fades away, and that's kinda jarring :/

Else, it seems like a good early take on the programming game genre, the visuals are quite nice, and the music is good :D

Developer

First of all thx for playing!

Then, I'm sorry for the audio bug. I've implemented the audio last minute, so I've really didn't have time to test it :/

Overscoping is also one of the main reasons the game didn't got it's full potential. I'll maybe make a post jam version, where everything should be fixed!

Submitted(+2)

Great game ! just as everyone else : not enough levels :/ but great for pushing it further after the jam !

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really wanted to make more levels, but sadly I overscoped and the levels were not the first thing that I made, but as I realised it, the jam was over ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe I'll add some more in a post jam version

Submitted

Definitely a good idea :)

Enjoyable and pretty game, wish there were more levels tho

Developer

Thx!
Sadly, do to overscopying, I couldn't make more :(

I'll add maybe some more after the jam!
