Nice twist! Did find a way of "cheating", if you don't move while on an important corner with dots you can kinda just give Pac-Man a panic attack until your ghost buddy helps out. This now leads me to name the ghosts appropriately

Original and very interesting, I know in pacman you couldn't but I wish you could turn full 180, would make it a lot more fun
Just curious, does the ghost AI in this work the same as in the arcade? it doesn't feel like the clydes go to the bottom left, but what I'm most curious about is if you fixed the error where the point the ghosts want to go is off by 2 on the left if you're facing up
The ghosts AI work the same as in the original game except:
- i did fix the ghost's target being off when pacman is facing up (i was actually considering keeping it just to match the game)
- the target the ghosts go to in scatter mode is different per level so in the clyde level the clydes each have a target in a different corner.
In the secret last level which mimics the original map the scatter targets are in the right place.
This is a genuinely amazing idea for a game, and really fun in practice too - I managed to beat all the levels (including the original maze, sick inclusion by the way). Pacman's AI is surprisingly challenging and fun to try and beat, and has a very fun detail of moving back and forth when trapped between two ghosts. I do have a few criticisms I would like to share however - mainly about the movement. It feels rather unfair to not be able to move backwards at all - I know it stays true to the original, but it makes things feel really unfair at times, and annoying when you go down a long hallway. If it'd make the game unbalanced, at least let me go backwards when I hit a wall. Another big issue is that when you just pass an opening, there isn't any "coyote time" that lets you go into it after missing it by a split second, which does feel rather unfair, especially considering you can't turn around to correct your mistake. That aside, this was a really fun game! Keep going!

I assume all the "unresponsive controls" comments are not understanding how the movement is limited? Which btw i think is great once you understand it
The game is definetly cheesable (camp a corner with points, if it comes behind you it has to touch you to get the point, if it comes from the other side of the L, you can turn to the pacman...) but hey who cares
The idea seems obvious in hindsight but it's 10/10
