Surprisingly difficult! Not sure if the slidy character movements were intentional or not, but totally plays into the theme of the ice, so I think it works. I also liked the fire mechanics, very dark souls-esque which I love. Awesome stuff! <3

Well done! I like the idea of having the two separate mini games, but they don't feel disconnected at all, which I think is difficult to pull off. I think the difficulty scales pretty well too. Would love to see this built out with some additional activities/minigames. Well done! <3

The fact that this is midwest recess specifically warms my heart. Very cute. Well done!

Don't be so hard on yourself! I'm a firm believer that all experience is valuable in and of itself. The things that may have gone wrong this time around will be easier to do the next time. They key is to not give up. Most game devs create a game for a jam that doesn't end up great and they decide its not for them, but if they kept going for another jam or two, they'd really blow themselves away with what they're able to create.

You're in a great spot to make something great the next time around, regardless of how you feel about the current jam. Don't give up, stay positive and keep going! <3

Really well done! This is the first 3D game I've played in the jam and I'm very impressed. Great work!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Putting your game on my to-play list ^-^

Thanks for checking it out and spending time with the project! Putting your game on my to-play list right now!

This is absolutely the best game I've played from the jam so far. Every aspect of the visual experience is top notch quality. If you told me you'd been working on this for months for a full release I'd believe you - totally breaking my expectation of what can be done for a jam, and you'll definitely be inspiring me down the road. Thank you for making this great project!

This is absolutely insane are you kidding me! Amazing work. Legitimately can't find the words ^O^

God I'm jealous of your art! Seriously, those animals are so well done, extremely cute. And the cash register is amazing, I'm in love with all of it. I will say I struggled with the controls a little bit and could have used some more introduction to them but that might just be on me. Awesome work!!

The way you do the turn animation in your sprite is really cool! I love that 3d-ish effect. I also thought this one was a nice challenge. Awesome game! :)

Definitely a bit of a challenge! This is actually the first theme interpretation that didn't involve snow, so originality points for sure! Great work here ^-^

This is awesome! The sprite work is extremely well done - everything reads so well, which is a real challenge with the restrictions. The Z-C mechanic was great too, good way to simulate making a fire with sticks. Really great stuff! ^-^

I remember seeing your art in the discord as you were working and I have to say it lives up to the hype. That squishy menu text animation is awesome, and the rest of the game looks beautiful too. Very well done! Definitely one of my favorites so far!

Dude that animation is unreal! Incredible stuff.

God, the art is so beautiful, and the menu theme is an absolute jam (no pun intended)! Not related to the game but I think the blue text on your itch page does a really nice job of emphasizing the iciness of the game/theme.

This is my favorite entry I've played so far. Elements like the flames making your frozen droplets disappear are just so well thought out. Every aspect of this game is handled really well, from the art and sounds to the gameplay itself - I absolutely love the feel of the jump and the animation is *chefs kiss*.

Seriously, incredible work here, you should be proud!

Really interesting concept for a game. I agree with some of the other comments that (in an ideal non-game jam world) there could be some ramp up that allows the player to get comfortable with the controls and the concept before jumping right in - but I totally understand that things like that can be impossible to think about during a jam.

All in all, really well done!

First of all, props for embedding your game in the Nokia "hardware", and for building out the controls with the actual buttons on the phone - incredible.

Also a really wonderful take on the theme and the restrictions. Extremely well done, I look forward to spending way too much time on this.

Thank you so much! Jumping into your game in just a second! <3

So glad the emotion comes across ^-^!

Thank you, thank you! Just opened your game in a new tab to give it a spin, stoked!

I thought about the idea of adding additional attributes but I agree, any more might've been overkill. Thanks for taking the time to write an in depth review! :)

Thank you so much! Your game is next up on my list :)

Thanks a bunch! I'm gonna go play your game right now :)

I love the art on this one, that title text is beautiful. And the title is 10/10. Awesome stuff.

I love this concept! Honestly a bit of a challenge for me lol. Would have loved something like this on my phone in middle school. Great work!

Hey, it looks like you might need to update the dimensions for your itch.io page - some of it seems to be getting cut off on my end. Would love to come back and play once you have!

Coming to check this out after your comment saying we had similar concepts - I totally agree! I love that we both kinda went for the visual-puzzle vibe. I love what you did with the different levels, really adds variety to the gameplay. Well done!

The cover image really drew me in here, really nice pixel art work. Similar to what another commenter said, the movement felt a bit floaty, but I'm sure thats more a product of the time restriction than anything. The theme is so catchy too! Nice work guys!

I absolutely love the name. The animations are well done and the gameplay loop is super addicting. I'm not sure if it was just me but I didn't see an indication of score, which definitely would've fueled some addictive gameplay. Awesome stuff guys, I'll stay tuned for future updates!

Another classic phone game vibe, well done! Particularly nice job sticking with the pixel perfect movement, definitely found myself jumping off ledges while just keeping a single pixel on the ledge. My one piece of constructive criticism - I struggled a bit with the jump physics, so I think you could toy with that a bit for a more intuitive feel. Great stuff!

This has that classic phone game vibe, which I really love. Could totally have seen myself playing this for way too long back in the day when I had a nokia. Added elements are introduced at the right speed and with enough information. Great work!
