Fun game! But consider focusing more on level design and variety than timers/speed count etc. You could do some interesting levels with this idea. Still congratulations on your game! I'm sorry to see that not many people have rated it yet.

First thought: This will be impossible.
20 seconds later: I'm the master of this game.

Had a nice time playing it and mastering the aiming system. At the end spawn was too slow for me hahaha.

Gunny is the best name ever btw. You have a nice game here.

This game felt really good to play. As other players have mentioned the inverted Y axis made it quite difficult for me to aim, but the overall feeling is fantastic. Congratulations!

Amazing feedback. Thank you for taking your time writing it!

I don't like match three games very much. You somehow made it different an funny. Also really apreciate the use of characters for the tutorial instead of leaving a wall of text right at the begining. The dialogues were full of character and life (and E made me smile every single time).

Great game great and great execution of the theme. Congratulations!

Confusing at first but it gets adictive as soon as I discovered that I had to throw the ships. Nice gameplay! Would make a great screen shared multiplayer mobile game. I hope you continue with the idea post jam!

This is one of the best I've played this jam. The juice in general is amazing. The badass feeling of deflecting a bullet destroyin it's ship while shooting another ship and quickly rotating the shield to deflect other bullet. Hard to master but really really satisfying. Congratulations on this amazing entry!

Yeah it was for playtesting. Suddently i watched the clock, there were 25 minutes left and I started to panic in rush to make the build without final checks hahaha. I'm sorry I couldn't make it longer. I've only spent the 5/6 hours that I had free this weekend. A lot of family duty :)

Thank you for giving it a try!

I didn't know I needed this game. If you make a full version post jam I'm in to keep playing it.

The leaderboard makes it even more addicting. By best was only 4 points below the last in the leaderboard T.T Well done!

Love the artstyle. Didn'tunderstand quite well how the game reach the game over state. Overall great experience and fun to dominate the controls. Congratulations!

I think I've found a bug. Seems like when I start playing I cannot stop at all due to heavy adiction. I think the music can be part of the problem, mabye are the stunning graphics or perhaps the hypnotizing rotation of the camera. Please I need help... my fingers start to hurt!

Great concept, scope and ultimately fun experience. Sadly only could save 4 of 5. One  will keep floating until the oxygen is over. Will come back after the jam if you make any improvements. Congratulations on your entry!

This is really great feedback. I also encourage you to see that video (and also the rest of the content of the channel wich is free gamedev gold)

This comment made my day. Thank you!

I think that what it makes the physics feel weird is that the ball should be child of the rotating level gameobject (if you are working in unity) so that it inherits its movement. Very good use of screenshake and chromatic aberration with hits. Would love to play this in my mobile! Congratulations!

This seems like a fast paced shooter doom-like. Mabye too big scope for a 48h game. Also the theme "rotation" should be present somehow in the concept or main mechanics of the game. Still congratulations in finishing it in such a short time, there is not such thing as a failed jam. If you submited a game you are a winner for me!

It was tough but I could finish it! Perfect scope for a jam. Really liked the orbit mechanic. My advise is that collisions should be a little bit smaller than actual sprites if it kills the player. If it is a bullet or something like that you can make the collision even bigger than the sprite. Otherwise hits/deads can be perceived as unfair by the players. Congratulations on your game!

I forgot the music too hahaha. The airplanes were a little distracting. But the idea is really interesting and could make a great mobile game! Congratulations!

Don't worry. I also uploaded the game with a mayor bug that makes spawns the player at the last checkpoint if you fall at the start of the level for not testing it at the last moment. Gameplay is fun and tricky to master!

Also I think you missplaced the health number  totalHealth/currentHealth insead of currentHealth/TotalHealth

Please make this a mobile game. It is reeeeeally good. Congratulations on your entry!

I'm really in love the controls of this game. Never seen this concept in rail spaceship games. Also love the details like selecting random IA characters if you press the same character more than once. I would make the track smaller for a game jam so the game can be played full in a few minutes.

Congratulations!

Nice feeling overall! A power fantasy once you start stacking power ups.

I would deactivate collission in the corpses, but mabye it is a design decision.

My 5 year old sibling played it and enjoyed every part of it. She was hungry for more!
I love Katamari Damacy-like games and yours was really well executed. Congratulations!

Yeah I know > _ <
I didn't test the final build in the final rush and forgot to assign the initial "lastCheckpointReached" to the first one. I assigned it to the last one to quickly test the last part killing myself right at the beginning hahaha.
Thank you for playing it!
