Hahhahaha! Awesome and funny game you got here! You get to play as banana? Cheering Avocados? what's not to love about it hahahah.

The controls are actually really satisfying once you get use to it, and the obstacles aren't too much pf a hassle while being difficult enough to be satisfying. However I felt the lighting could use a little improvement, it feels a bit overexposed. Perhaps changing the colour of the light might fix it, or if you want use a different shader.

Overall a job well done! Keep up the good work!

Very funny game. I almost made it past the donut section. I loved the aesthetic, and the fun characters, we all need supportive avocado in our lives! Some goofy music would really make the game shine. Nice work!

Very interesting game! It's both challenging and fun, really enjoyed playing this one :)

I like this game, it's fun. The movement felt almost great. Physics is challenging but not impossible. The level design is pretty good- it never felt repetitive, boring, or unfair. I like the feedback on the checkpoints- it really gets that "yay" feeling without breaking immersion. The way Banana "wiggles" as it spins really adds a lot to the gameplay experience (because Banana does not feel "boring" to look at).

A few things that come to mind are-

1. When I played for the first time, I pressed D to go "right" as it felt more intuitive (because of the camera angle) but Banana flipped off the platform, leaving me confused. But when I realised that I needed to press W, I adapted quickly. (But I did press A, D out of instinct more than once in latter sessions.)

[If you decide to stick to the present control scheme, you could rotate the instructions at the start of the level so that the W would be rotated to the right side, in the appropriate direction., while A and D will be to the left and right like on the keyboard. This will convey which side the player will move on pressing which key. (personally, I recommend changing the control scheme to make it go right on pressing D )]

2. Visual depth needs to be better comprehensible. More often than not, the shadow is not very visible and I would slip off a platform because I did not realise that Banana was at the edge of a platform.

3. You may also want to reduce the overall brightness just a little bit. It may not matter too much for a short game, but if you decide to add more levels, it may be beneficial to reduce the strain on the eyes for longer.

Overall, it is a really nice game with cute and comical essence. Great work!

Amazing feedback. Thank you for taking your time writing it!

This was funny, the banana and the avocados facial expressions are great.

D'awwww. That was short, but sweet. :D

BTW, if you throw yourself off the very first platform to the left, it just sends you to the last obstacle. Had it in there for playtesting and forgot to remove it? :P

I guess you could make it longer if you decide. But I have no idea what new challenges to present...

EDIT: Ah, I see people have already reported the first-platform bug. Oh well. :)

Yeah it was for playtesting. Suddently i watched the clock, there were 25 minutes left and I started to panic in rush to make the build without final checks hahaha. I'm sorry I couldn't make it longer. I've only spent the 5/6 hours that I had free this weekend. A lot of family duty :)

Thank you for giving it a try!

Hey, no worries, we know how it is with free time. Life is too short for everything and there are things more important than game jams. :) If you make it longer, let us know. ;)

Very cute, very pretty but that banana was super hard to control. Other than that I loved it. (that third doughnut is my nemesis)

Super cool game! I did experience a little bug though, I think.

When I fell down in the beginning, I respawned straight to the end of the level, instead of respawning in the start again. Otherwise I really loved it!!

Yeah I know > _ <
I didn't test the final build in the final rush and forgot to assign the initial "lastCheckpointReached" to the first one. I assigned it to the last one to quickly test the last part killing myself right at the beginning hahaha.
Thank you for playing it!

Criminally underrated so far. Such a great concept/execution for this jam.
