Amazing job on making a satisfying shooter in a really short time. The sound effects and bullet shells really add to the game's overall feel. The pickups were also a nice touch and made you feel really powerful. Again, nice work!
Man, that is a one crazy bunny. Very hard run and gun type of game. I loved the voices in the game and the music + tempo. Would have been nice to get a bit easier level to start with.
Man this game is hard, but its super fun trying to survive and kill the enimes, get your shield your rapid fire and go! oh yeah rapid fire is a must!
Fun game. Was very hard though, didn't manage to beat all three towers, but I feel like I learned the gameplay while playing. Well done ! :-)
Thanks, it is getting a rebalancing after the jam voting is over. Just one of those things that didnt quite get done in time for the end. But hey, least it's fun if brutally hard. I havent beat them all either.
Fun shooting game! It felt really difficult in the beginning, but after getting the rapid fire it became much more manageable. I managed to go as far as to kill one of the big guys.
The visual is nice, well done and good use on assembling the assets. Gameplay is solid and decent, got a very good feel to the game especially the gun shots. However it feel it's a bit weird that the enemies can walk and shoot thru the buildings. Also the theme felt a bit lose for me or maybe I didn't notice it?
Anyways pretty good game overall, well done! keep it up.
great game, love the use of the art,

Nice feeling overall! A power fantasy once you start stacking power ups.
I would deactivate collission in the corpses, but mabye it is a design decision.
This is an awesome entry! Did not notice the theme first, but I can see it now. Otherwise, very impressive for such a small amount of time. I loved the little details like bullet casings staying on the ground (this is the stuff I love in every game) and the fact that you can stop the car if you get into its way. Packed with hectic action, Man in Bunny Suit is definitely a great entry, and my real life bunny approves as well!
Thank you, glad you liked it. It's a bit of a strange game, but I'm really happy that people are having fun with it. I think "Approved by a real life bunny" needs to be added as a quote too, the game has that kind of wacky jam haze crazyness going on already, might as well lean into it a bit.
Strange is often great! And feel free to add that quote anywhere, haha. :)
Wow very cool!
Liked the music, gameplay, the fact that you can get extra health, and that the cases are left on the ground.
great job! :)
Thanks for playing
You made the gunfire super satisfying. I do love those wasted (cartridges???). Good fun to play, the art was nicely put together. I was a little disoriented by the aim crosshair not following the mouse but a radius around the player. Also the aliens phased through wall, but I guess they are aliens so fair enough. Nice one!
ah was the crosshair mechanic the "rotation" part of the game?
Actually the phasing was a bug / flaw I had to live with. I knew about it, but the simple pathfinding I built when I started didnt hold up under pressure, so on the second day I dropped it and just let them walk where they wanted. I'm going to rebuild the pathfinding system and put it up after the jam voting is over, along with some balancing and re-enabling some disabled enemy types.
The crosshair is a rotation mechanic, figured it would make things more of a judgement call for where you were aiming. The original concept wasnt quite as full on as what I ended up with, more slow based and lining up shots, moving between cover and popping shots. But then as I started to build it and realized that yeah it could handle a lot smoothly, the game started to get crazier.
Tough as nails, visually coherent, and jam packed with action.
Aside from the occasional floating gun (Totally not a bug; it's alien telekinesis!), this is a great deal of punchy high-octane fun in a small package.
I recommend a volume slider for the music and sound effects, as the latter was disproportionately loud, and you can never be quite so sure of the sound settings of the player. Otherwise, great work!
That is defiantly on the list of things to add. It was one of those after submission things realizing I'd forgotten to add the in game menu.
But glad you enjoyed the game. This is probably my favorite jam game, totally the one I've had the most fun making.
The amount of casing dropped is insane, xD.
There are few bugs but didn't stop me from enjoying shooting the aliens. : )
Glad you had fun, thanks for playing
Very nervous & chaotic ! Loved it !
Chaos! Awesome work.
Chaotic and fun. Good level design and level of difficulty; the game feels quite polished even though there are a few collision/Z-order related glitches. Great job, Nefylem! I'd love to play a local multiplayer version of this with friends.
That actually sounds like a cool idea. Are you talking split screen or local network?
If I were you I wouldn't even bother with split screen (but I am talking about the "couch coop" style multiplayer, one device with a big screen and multiple controllers), just zoom in/out dynamically so all players can be seen on the same screen. Kinda like in Zombie Estate 2.
I'll have to look into it. Once the jam rating is over, I'm going to add some features that got missed due to time / I totally spaced and forgot about. Not sure how this would look zoomed right out, but love the idea.
Lol cute. Good work.
