The ship is very hard to control, but apart from that, this game is very polished. The pixel art looks amazing and the idea is great and fits the theme. My game has a very similar idea, so I can naturally appreciate all the differences and similarities between the two games. I think you all did a great job here! Good submission!

This game is a rage game. And like the other rage game I played in this jam, “Built For It”, I enjoyed this one a lot, except I like this one even more. The fish just go all over the place and are very hard to lead. Markiplier lines like “NO! STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” kept rolling in my head. The idea of having to manage the size of your school to get through the reef and avoid obstacles fits the theme of the jam very well. The pixel art looks great and the music is fun to listen to. I liked everything about this game and I think you did a great job!

This is a rage game, and I love it! the controls are extremely awkward, but the mechanics make sense and the levels are fair. This game might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it personally.

Umm…I beat this in one minute, so I’m a bit confused, but I’m pretty sure this was good! The levels where well designed and the size changing mechanic was fun. The visuals are not the best, but I can’t really say they’re bad. Pretty good work nonetheless!

Very cool game. enjoyed it a lot. fits the theme very well. very good pixel art. amazing!

I’m planning to add auto-fire to compensate for the enemies having a lot of health. I already tested it and made sure it doesn’t make it harder for you to shoot a single laser at a time. That’s the solution I’m going with. Thank you for playing the game and I’m happy you enjoyed it!

Ok, but for real, I love this submission. It’s a great use of the theme, the art style is very nice and most of all, it’s really fun and FAST.

The game’s framerate dropped significantly when the pufferfish got very big. Despite that, I still really enjoyed the game and I think you executed the idea very well! You should be proud of yourself!

Thank you for playing my game and giving feedback!

OMG you’re a genius! I’ll have to try that!

This is my favorite game in the jam so far! The aesthetics are charming, the puzzles are challenging and fun, and the mechanics fit perfectly to the jam. This game has everything you could ask for from a game jam submission and even beyond that. Great work!

First of all, This game looks AMAZING! The aesthetics really make you feel like a virus! However, most of the time I felt like I was just moving around pressing shift like an idiot to win, and I’m not sure how well this fits the theme of the jam. Despite that, I still think it’s a really good submission, and it’s clear that a lot of effort went into this.

Not bad, but the use of the theme is a bit of an excuse imo. The grow power could have just been the health bar of the game would have stayed mostly the same. However, I mostly enjoyed the game and the art is nice!

It’s a short and sweet puzzle game. I like it. Good work!

Great work! The puzzles where really fun, the game looks and sounds great. Love it!

Thank You😁

100% on the last thing you said. I think that would have been a lot better. I only thought about that after the jam ended when I remembered a game I played called “Shoot Trip Die”, which controls just like that.

Thank you so much for the feedback! This game was intentionally designed to be a slow-paced game, where you think twice before you start shooting lasers at the enemy and plan your movements carefully, but taking the fast-paced design route sounds like a fun idea! I really like fast-paced games myself. Maybe someday…

Thank you so much❣❣

OMG Thank you!!💕🥰
