The ship is very hard to control, but apart from that, this game is very polished. The pixel art looks amazing and the idea is great and fits the theme. My game has a very similar idea, so I can naturally appreciate all the differences and similarities between the two games. I think you all did a great job here! Good submission!

I absolutely love the pixel art and overall look of this game! Gameplay was fun, but challenging - it might be a good idea to change the scale a bit, either by making the ship smaller or the levels bigger.
Omg the graphic design is incredible! I found the gameplay a little hard (felt a bit difficult to control the ship in the direction I wanted), but that's probably just a skill issue. Other than that, the gameplay is super smooth and polished!
Well done! I love the artwork, animations and sound effects. The shooting and charge shot all felt satisfying. I think the only feedback I have is that it felt a little cramped being limited to the screen size. Maybe if the play area was just a tad larger than the screen, I wouldn't feel like I kept getting trapped in a corner. Overall, this is a fantastic game, your team should be proud.
VIsualy it's perfect !! I have an issue with the gameplay tho, whenever i shoot the aliens they keep growing and growing unit i have no more room to go and then i die, what's i'm supposed to do ??? i'm so confused :(
Might be one of the juicier games I’ve played in the jam. It’s vary satisfying to line up a shot while drifting and let momentum take me to the right spot to land the hit. Not sure why I’d ever use LMB shooting, seems that just bounces stuff around while the charge shot is always a one hit kill. The SFX and music are wonderful and fit the visual style to a tee. Very well done!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's especially good to hear you got the hang of the movement, drifting to line up shots is exactly how I was playing during development. The blaster increases enemy size and you get more points for shooting larger enemies so the intention was to build up to having one large enemy and then killing that for the most points, but if score isn't important to you then I understand why the mechanic doesn't feel necessary for gameplay. If I could make any changes it would be another way to encourage the player to go for a higher score. Thank you for your feedback!
I didn't get it first and I was just getting BODIED by one massive eye, but then I shot it with right click and I was like OHHHHH this game is good
I really like the pixelart of the game everthing is very clean and easy to see, but it is a hard game.
The game is overall a good entry, well done!
Wow, awesome pixel art skills! We love the color palette, sound effects, and music. The controls are a little challenging, but that makes it fun. Great job! We're adding this to our collection of game jam gems!
Very crisp execution of the idea. Great pixel art, great SFX, great music, and great gameplay. Adds a lot of -player imposed challenge to get a high score. Found it very difficult at times but also maybe I did that to myself? Idk. Awesome entry!
