Hey there, sorry for the late response. I was never happy with the web performance of the new version so I've decided to make the original playable here. Thanks for checking out the game.

Thanks so much, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it.

Hey, thanks for checking it out. Unfortunately a couple of bugs are still lingering. I hope to release a new version with fixes and more content soon.

It's hard to be a good boy, but gotta keep human happy too! Great idea for a game. I think it would be interesting to see some "bad" influences pass through the control radius that are challenging to resist/avoid. Had a lot of fun with it.

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

Definitely not a failure! You created a good foundation, and I'm sure you learned a good deal while making it. On to the next jam, where I'm sure you'll learn a lot more!

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately it kind of came down to crunch time at the end of the jam, so some of the later levels especially were pretty dull. I plan to work on it a bit after things wrap up. Line of sight challenges, some changes to ducking (helmet breaking after one hit, something similar), and just more thought put into hopefully a bunch of new levels.

I'm really happy you liked it. I appreciate you taking the time to give me some good honest feedback. Thanks again!

Not the explosives, children! Great idea, I had a lot of fun. Nice work on it!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it. Yeah, unfortunately it didn't quite end up what I envisioned with out of control explosions chaining into each other, partially because of lack of time. I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks!

I appreciate that, thanks for playing!

This is great! It feels really polished and has a lot of charm. I ran into a bug where a planet began to spin like crazy, but it only happened once. I really enjoyed playing it and I would love to see more!

This is a great little platformer--I enjoyed it! The character is very cute and I really like the pixel art. It's simple and stylish. I think the level design is clever, albeit unforgiving (which I also like, heh). It's a very fun game!

(1 edit)

This is fantastic! I love the game before a game idea. The presentation is great, and the 8-bit crunchy sounds are very satisfying. I think the music is perfect, and it helps make it feel frantic towards the end. Really great work!

Thanks, I'm really glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing!

Everything about this is great. Rage inducing, but great! The graphics, sound, and music really give it a good feel/mood. Really well done!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Great idea, I only wish there was more! Nice work!

Really enjoyable, I had a lot of fun with it. Very unique combination of mechanics, and it looks slick. Loved it!

Thanks for playing!

What an interesting work of art. Sending love.

Wow, yeah, things really got...out of control! Who thought a fireplace was a good idea for these kids anyway? Had a lot of fun with this. Weird and frantic. Great job!

I had a blast with this! Great take on tower defense, though the difficulty ramped up a bit slow. I really enjoyed the music and the presentation was fantastic. Nice job with it!

I really liked this game. It's a great idea with interesting mechanics. It would be neat to see more of it. The low-poly art looks nice, and I think the voice lines and music fit very well. Nice work on it!

My brain! Fun game, though I'm not very good at it. Really enjoyed it.

What are you doing, just JUM... Oh, right... Great idea for a game! Wonderfully frustrating. Simple, clever, funny.

Interestingly weird--I love it! The inverted camera was really a struggle for me, though. Hope to see more!

After the workaround (I ended up having to restart my browser also) I was able to play and enjoyed it. I think it's a neat idea, though it's really difficult for me. I feel like the controls are a little too sensitive. Good work on it, sorry about the troubles you're having.

The "tutorials" definitely leave a lot to be desired. I appreciate the feedback, and I'm happy you liked it.

Glad you liked it! Hoping to make some more levels and polishing things up after the jam. Thanks for playing.

Fun game where you're definitely your own worst enemy. I agree with the other comments--the bullets could use a recolor, drop shadow, or something similar. I really enjoyed playing, though.

Really enjoyed it, simple but fun mechanics. I would love to see it turned into a bigger game. And of course it's very cute! The almost papercraft style works very well. Great work!

Neat idea, very creative and unique. Definitely a challenge, but I got the hang of it quick. You really have to be deliberate with your shots. There's a fun strategy involved--it can be quite mind bending. Nice work!

I had a lot of fun playing this. Great whimsical, minimalistic art. Falling asleep and taking out a bunch of enemies is very satisfying. Good job!

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

Hey everyone! My new game Night Orbit is now available. It was made for the Weekly Game Jam - Week 155 with the theme Cycle.

You play as an orb and must carefully roll around a small platform, trying not to fall off.  I decided to focus on a day/night cycle that would change the enemies during these different phases. In daylight you can easily destroy them, collecting points. At night they become invulnerable and will bump you off the edges if you aren't careful.

It became a more difficult game than I was anticipating, but I'm happy with the result. I'd love for you to try it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

You can play it in your browser right here!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the feedback.
