Great job on this! I found it a little confusing at first as to wear I should put the complete item but after re-reading the instructions it made more sense :)

Loved this! I thought the announcements were really funny and I liked the pace of the game. It would've been cool to know how many levels there are, I got to 10 and stopped because I'm guessing it just keeps going?
Thanks for the submission I really enjoyed it :)

I really enjoyed the resource management aspect to this game! My only feedback is that the 2nd level felt like a bit too much of a jump but I appreciate you only had a week to make it and each level takes time :)

I really enjoyed the progression and had a lot of fun! I think the spawning of the octopus aliens could do with being a bit further out as I found that they jumped me as soon as I left the forge room in the later levels.
I went back and played it again though which I haven't done with any other game in this jam -thanks for making it :)

I really liked the concept and I think there are some interesting places you can take it, or even have this as a mini-game inside another game. Thanks for your submission :)

Thanks for playing! Yeah the instructions were not very clear, I kind of rushed them right at the end. The 'cheat' to the randomness is a good idea :)

Thank you for playing and the feedback! The instructions could definitely do with improving. My friends all tried to collect everything as well :D
And thank you for confirming onions are not suited to melee warfare!

Thanks for playing! I really enjoyed your game too, building a mini RPG for a game jam - you absolute madman! :D

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree, at the moment its purely random but could do with something a bit more forced

Great idea! I had fun playing. I felt like the timing was good, not too short and not too long. Thanks for making this :)

I really liked the retro art style and music! I had some issues with lag on the web browser but that was probably an issue my end. Overall had a good time playing :D

I enjoyed haggling for my hard made crafts! I did get a bit stuck in the shop and ended up spending all my money of wood in my bid to escape :D
I had fun though thanks for submitting!

The Onion Sword theory is becoming more and more unlikely as more people confirm onions do not make good swords. Thanks a lot for playing, I hope you had fun!

That's a good point, I didn't make it very clear the order didn't matter! Congrats on reaching the end and thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing! To be fair, avoiding the onions is great strategy. I admit I didn't make it very clear regarding how to complete requests - I'll definitely work on making the rules more clear for my next jam :)
Congrats on making it to the end!

Really enjoyed this, thanks for making it!

(1 edit)

Thank you for spotting that!  It should be fixed now.

Nice platformer! It would be fun to see the timings for different people (although I have no idea how you'd do that! :D )

I really enjoyed playing this, never seen grid movement used in this context but I thought it was a fun idea. Congrats on your first game jam :)

Thanks for playing! Yeah I think I'll make it easier to replay a level when you die - it is a bit harsh atm

Thank you! I loved the aesthetic of your game btw.

Thank you for the feedback! I never thought about mobile but I might give it a try and see how it works in Godot

Thank you! :D

Thank you for the feedback and taking the time to play!

Really enjoyed this! I don't think I've seen this type of game before so thank you

Fun game! Luckily I really I like apples :D

Really enjoyed the vibe of this game! Thanks for making it.

Great game! Really good pacing and xp curve

Really enjoyed this! I especially liked how the music and art fit together.

I did find the combat a bit confusing as it seems like I'll always lose more health fighting compared to just running away but this is hard to do against the flying enemies. It is also possible I'm just not very good at the game!

Really enjoyed this! Admittedly I did spam disasters on my first try until I read the description

I really enjoyed this. I thought the last level was really well designed.

I had a lot of fun playing this! The puzzles are great and its very well paced.

I had a lot of fun playing! A bit confusing at first but I got the hang of it

Thanks for playing! The feedback is a great confidence boost. Nice job on reaching level 8, I never made it past that either.

I did want to add some sort of dash indicator but decided to work on the level saving instead as I was running out of time but I totally agree its quite confusing and hard to tell when its off CD otherwise.

It is an endless game so you didn't miss any hidden content. The number of white circles will just keep increasing each level ... probably until the screen fills up and you can't move anymore :D

Nice one! I never got past level 8 either :D

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and provide feedback! I'll take a look at the move_toward function.

Thank you! :D
