Really cool mini-metroivania. Would have been nice to see the project fully fleshed out.

Very appealing art style and music, but the gameplay itself was very finnicky. Really like the concept tho.

Fell off the map and didn't even die, just moved around at the bottom. The visuals are pretty appealing, but the gameplay needs work.

Fun game, the level design was very enjoyable, also liked how you went about teaching the player the mechanics one at a time. Would have been nice to see a bit more visual flair.

Yeaaaaah it was a bit long if I could go back I definitely would have made it shorter, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks :)

It didn’t sound rude lol I get what you are saying. Will definitely try to communicate better if me and him continue to cooperate on stuff like this!

Thanks for the feedback, honestly I completely agree the maze sucks. The only reason it does is because this was kinda a collaborative project with my dad, the idea for the game was originally his so I let him draw out the maze and he gave me just the most awful maze ever made but I decided to put it in anyway.

Really like the art style, hilarious idea for a game. Still don't really understand how to play it!

Actually a really neat little game. It would be funny if you expanded this into an actual website (make sure to dodge the legal implications though) that got additions regularly.

This is actually pretty fun lol just flinging the ball around. I like the minimalist art style, I think if you could get the mouse drag UI to look a little better the whole game would visually come together. The perspective makes it a little difficult to determine the verticality of the level, so you might want to come up with some way to portray that better to the player. Other than that, solid game!

That's actually a good point, because tbh I was kinda just doing that myself to get through the level lol

Pretty cool idea, would definitely recommend you continue to work on this. A few key issues did pop up in the short time I was playing, 1) when you die and press replay, you have to press replay again for the UI to disappear, and 2) if you move too quickly you can outpace the camera, making it near impossible to play. Definitely try to get these ironed out, and then you'll have a solid foundation.

Really neat concept, I think you could make some great levels with this idea if you continue to expand this down the line (would recommend polishing the visuals though).

Audio and visuals are incredible. I have nothing more of substance to say.

Pretty decent start. I really like the art style you are going for here (big softie for the minimalist black and white with excessive glow), but as far as the actual game goes, I think it could use some work. The combat itself doesn't really feel like combat, and there is no way to lose (which is crucial to most games, and I would argue a game like this). If I were you I would keep working on this, I think you could have something cool here.

I'm really not that big of a fan of puzzle games, but this was actually pretty sick.  Interesting level puzzle design really drives this one home. Personally I really like the art style. My biggest complaint is the movespeed, and how the levels are designed in the context of it. There were large portions of the game spent just walking back and forth in rooms, and at such a slow pace, it gets pretty frustrating. Other than that, solid game.

Pretty decent platformer, visuals and SFX were nice. Level design does need some work, some levels just become a grid of bullets flying at the player. I like the attempt at striking a balance between being able to attack the bullets or see the level. You might want to consider a game over screen, since atm death is kind of meaningless.

Pretty decent experience, I would recommend refilling the player's health at the start of each room considering you are changing the spawn point as well.
