Really liked it! The music and narrative framing of the game are excellent, they both lend to a great sense of atmosphere as you go through this minimalist world. The game is too harsh tho, I think. Progressing so much just to loss all of it is frustrating, especially since the game world is a bit hard to navigate. Though the world by itself is very fun to explore, it's very complex and the ways the dark/light worlds interweave to make for two different worlds that overlap is great.

Thank you so much! A checkpoint system would definitely have been helpful. Glad you enjoyed it!

Wow, the gameplay is so fun, the way you combined the mechanics  with the platforming is so smart, this could be polished and published as a game in platforms like Steam or Epic with no problems. The graphics are okay for a 3 day jam.

In general this is an amazing entry for the competition, it won't be a surprise if this game wins because the gameplay and mechanics are so well implemented.

THIS IS SO AWESOME!! I absolutely love the concept and design of the game. It was so fun, great work!

This is so atmospheric and nice, I love the music and how it's presented. Also smart way of implementing the tutorial and setting up the motivation with the graphics. I was impressed by the start of the game.

Sadly I got stuck in a wall and I did not want to restart, but may try again later. I would suggest changing the game design a bit (more guidance in first part of level, do chackpoints as dying was too annoying, coyote Jump / be more forgiving if player jumps close to an edge).

The atmosphere and mood in the game is so great! Very nice composing and style! Impressive!

Developer

Thank you so much! We didn't quite have the chance to fix the bug with getting stuck in the walls, and that is a very valid critique.  We definitely should have implemented checkpoint and coyote jump. Thank you for your feedback!

Great polished game. I liked the use of polarity
I had a bit of trouble with getting stuck in walls. Dying was to punishing for my taste. Repeating the same routes to often.

Developer

Glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback. In retrospect, it would have been good to use a check point system instead of a complete restart.

The gameplay, the graphics, THE MUSIC, everything feels perfectly put together. The concept is interesting, an excellent proposal for the JAM, it is surprising what some can do in 3 days. I love your work.

-I appreciate if you try my game: Polaronic

The most polished game I played so far. The movement feels good and responsive. Music, mood, graphics, visual effects — are all chef's kiss.

Losing abilities on death feels a bit cheap. It's kind of boring to replay the part of the game you already completed.

Level design feels like it lacks direction. I think it's supposed to be Metroidvania-ish. Levels in Metroidvanias usually guide you somewhere while teasing you with interesting places you can't get to yet. Here I just felt lost most of the time.

Thank you!

It was supposed to have a metroivania kind of vibe, though with the limited time we weren't able to work out a more cohesive and digestible map layout. That's definitely one of the main weaknesses of the project. Thank you for your feedback! Hopefully you still had fun!

There a bug when you change polatiy and can get inside wide wall and fall out of map!
