Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
For various reasons, I have made the game random encounters this time, but I'd like to see if there are ways to improve it. The difficulty level also needed a little more adjustment.
I appreciate your very detailed comments.
The background and monster graphics are my own creation, though, The fonts are free fonts called BestTen. The credit is given on the game page.
As for the controls, the main reason is that I was familiar with them. I played other people's works in this jam, and I regretted that the controls of this game were not standard. This one will be updated post jam with an option to switch between strafe and turn.
I understand that you want to get all the items from the chests. This is due to the game design, with limited items and limited durability, and we want you to be able to choose which items are best to get in such a situation.
I am also sorry about the difficulty level of the game. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lack of time and the inability to implement checkpoints and other features. I hope to improve on the things you mentioned, such as displaying the remaining HP of enemies, in future updates.
Thank you very much for playing!
It's a very complete game.
The idea of grid-based space travel was surprising and a great experience. It is also fun to explore different planets.
Unfortunately, after being trapped in eye area, I had to give up because I couldn't escape after a lot of trial and error.
But there is no doubt that this work is very well done.
I enjoyed sneak kills.
The fact that it was there made me feel that the game design was to not fight from the front. However, even if you are found, there are not many disadvantages and you can escape, so I think there is room for improvement there.
Nevertheless, I was surprised by the hordes of cyclops. I am glad we were able to escape.
The low-poly graphics are nice and I was amazed at how well each of the abundant locations were built. The puzzles were not difficult and I was able to complete the game smoothly. The combat system is also an interesting idea.
The guns could have been a little stronger though. I found the difficulty level to be the most difficult in the early stages until I found the First Aid Kit.
It was a very fun game. Great work!
First of all, I was surprised by the high quality of the graphics. Great! The puzzles and gimmicks, such as movable blocks, were well done and made the game worth exploring. However, if you fall into a pitfall, do you have to start over from the beginning?
I couldn't understand why I couldn't break some of the jars. I tried changing weapons, but it didn't make sense.
I felt there was room for improvement in the combat, but other than that, everything else was polished and enjoyable.
Great visuals. I was blown away first by the title screen and then by the game screen. Overall, It is polished. However, the controls are a bit quirky. I was confused at first because I couldn't figure out that holding Space to move makes jump. It is even more complicated when Grab is added. There were many times when I held down the move key and ended up falling because of the momentum. Maybe it's because I'm not good at action.
Nevertheless, it was a fun game. Good work!
It's a very unique game.
By understanding the rules and using items, I was able to complete the game smoothly. But I didn't understand it at first. Ha ha. I could have realized it earlier by carefully looking at the menus, but I still felt that there were not enough explanations in the game.
But it was a very interesting game. The sound is cool too.
I like Sci-Fi and I liked this one. The atmosphere and visuals is good. I am also interested in the last part of the story.
The radar mechanics is also a good idea and fits the worldview. I didn't particularly struggle with the combat, but I'm glad I was able to concentrate on the exploration.
Overall, this is a very polished work. Great!
2 health!? That's wonderful!
I have to admit that I tried to keep it as simple as possible in order to complete it in the limited time available. Still, I had to give up some elements.
Shortcuts are a good idea. Movement speed has been improved so it will be faster with post-jam update :)
Thank you for playing and comment! I would be very happy if you enjoyed it.
It was a great game with an appeal that made me want to play it over and over again.
It was important to know when to open chests so as not to waste potions, and I felt it was very much a matter of luck as to how many upgrades I could get. On the third try, with the help of the RNG, we were able to complete the game successfully. I liked the variety of creature designs. Good work!
I could see from the video that there was a problem with the parry timing. I will improve the parry based on the feedback received.
The silver key not working was unexpected, but I'm glad i have another way to do it as a secret. The misalignment of the UI is also a concern and will be investigated. Thank you for playing!
