very good, the mouse movement makes it very accessible for non shmup players, and even just players that arent comfortable with whatever keybinds comes with it.

only like design issues is just u get cheapshot occasionally and lose ur fresh new power u didnt get to use. the center laser attack on perfect grant is kinda cooked as well i played it close range, and it was kinda just a life sink, although its not necessarily a bad thing, maybe i missed a strat or life sink is the intended way.


pretty fun, very easy to get into (just like picking up the game and knowing what to do, not difficulty).

pretty decent i like the silly style, dont really have any complaints, its just a neat little game. very easy to get into.

yea usually the animation is not too heavy in these games just some minor sprite animations and like arm swinging for the bosses etc. player movement leg swinging and like leaning and just mirror it. the spin part is not very imaginative its just the funny wheel that gives u buffs and debuffs (mostly debuffs). mostly just wanted to work on this type of game.


realistically the debuffs from the wheel is wayyy overkill for this difficulty though, but i feel it would have been mostly fine in a lesser difficulty. i made the tools to add an easier mode in a day or so, but had some issues porting it to webgl and missing features on the last couple of days which cost me most of my time sadly.

very cool game, the unscrew thing seemed a bit overwhelming on my first like 1 or 2 attempts, and the hitboxes seem a bit large for the vinyl boss lasers. managed to kill the squid bossy tho. i suppose maybe i should have played the tutorial earlier, cause i didnt realise there was a flamethrower, i suppose that would have helped a bit with the vinyl boss.


very funky music and excellent art and overall style.

very cool, controls a bit funky, but it was good on gamepad except for some weird stick errors, but worked fine on dpad. didnt realise u had to deflect the bullet in the laser part on stage 2, so i was just dodging for like 5 minutes lolll, but beat the game.


after figuring out the movement and mechanics on the first boss it was fun.

well the wheel is just jam version, i couldnt really come up with anything better. the intended difficulty was more in line with the very unfair modes. i wanted to make a game like this for a while and it just lined up with the game jam when i started. the non jam version would just be a more standard touhou like shmup with a funny unfair ultra mode. i might explore the slowdown stuff from mushihimesama since it kinda is more fun in my game when it slows down regardless lol. lots of tweaking ahead i suppose to hit a good sweet spot


the bomb is definitely also meant to eventually do damage but it was just not a priority in the last time crunch, there was more important stuff missing.

not sure how to chain the combos for the.. 5th? challenge but i liked the game

looks good sounds alright, it definitely spins. not sure what to do on the 2nd boss lol.

spinning is fun its kinda funny how fast the guy goes when u just only spin on the first boss, but its a little bit lacking otherwise.

pretty fun lots of clicking i can see it being a like instant turnoff for a lot of people.

if the inventory management was faster like just clicking the things to put them in place/activate etc and a hotkey for spinning the items might be more appealing to more people (i suppose you could also make more advanced mechanics if the inventory tetris is faster). 

took a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but it was good when it clicked. only got lives on my first attempt maybe i forgot to pick up the first items i guess.

i think my run was like absolutely bricked i just kept getting ammo over and over on the first boss so it took forever, not sure if i missed something. pretty fun either way, bullet hitboxes + player hitbox are very large for the style, but u have a billion health so it doesnt really matter.


controls and general feel was extremely solid though, but i just felt like i was missing something from the start idk if i just kept getting bad rolls. got an awp on the 2nd boss very cool

dang yo, that definitely changes the game lol, it was balanced for like 4-5 lives and 5-15 bombs kinda, wish you luck on your bullet hell mission, for me it was really just making like a robust bullet spawning system and just making editor scripts to make like a visual graph type thing to spawn them. i need to rewrite the aiming entirely though, so im kinda burnt ... but got like 70% of the kit done to make a full game at this point so i have to keep at it!

overall pretty good, theres a little bit too much that stalls movement but the rest kinda works well.

ty! yea it was definitely a mistake to not work on an easier mode a bit earlier. had all the systems in place to cook it in like basically a day but worked on just fixing stuff and making like a boss system + the theme at the last 2 days sadly.


mostly made the game for just finally actually completing something so i will be working on it as a standard shmup game after the jam. prooobably gonna get some new lore for it though.

small edit, did the bomb actually just not work at all? its supposed to be when the spell bar is full = 1 bomb. i had some input issues that cost me like 4 hours or something on the last couple days, but i thought i got through all of them


uhh yea i agree the theme is maybe not a good fit, i couldnt really think of anything else than that and just "shmup but it spins lol", i had the text in the bottom right of the game corner and it was kinda readable as you played but it covered like where u would also stand to dodge soo..


the first pattern is kinda just ripoff of cirno icicle fall, and the last one is a ripoff of queen larsa ultra final from mushihimesama 2, at least as far as i remember those are the only like straight up ripoffs, the other are just putting in random stuff in the projectile system and just kinda freestyling. i spent most of the time working on the projectile system so thats one of the reason why i ran out of time for stuff that should have just been included from the start. kiiinda cranked the lives up and just put the bomb in a middleground where u cant spam it, but u can kinda bullet cancel and it drops points to fill and u can bomb basically once every attack. the wheel is kinda just supposed to be unfair as well.

decently fun, played it on hardmode and the upgrades didnt really click for me before like 8th boss or so so it kinda cost me the run at the 14th boss, cause i just lost too much to repairs and downgrading lol.


only thing i wasnt like a huge fan of was just the acceleration/friction movement but i suppose its a space game so its just personal preference. thematically it works.

yo yo, i liked this game very much.

normally i play vertical shmup, so the horizontal definitely caught me offguard lol, the only part that really stuck out to me was the final first attack, but i suppose i just misread it.

never got a chance to try out the DDP style spinning attacks so it was good fun!

Hi. ive kinda ran out of time at the end of the jam due to some extra work so i didnt get to spend time on easier difficulties for the game. The patterns and general pace of the game is balanced for whats supposed to be a very very difficult mode.


I realize i kinda am making a game for litterally no one since in a jam setting its just too much lol, so heres my own playthrough if you like the look of the game but too difficult to clear or just wanna hear the music.

very nice for jam, lots of safespots but overall fun and enjoyable. id assume this is like a good middleground for non shmup players, but even as a player it was still challenging enough in a blind run.

the game idea was that you just reroll the knight to epic levels and fight the bot until you lose.

i suppose winning is beating your own highscore.

i realise that its unlikely to get more than like 5-10 rounds in so i suppose ill hop in right now and change it a little bit so the player at least gets a bit more desireable knights, since the bot does so as well.
