The Itch version will get updated with Eeyok's release, which will be sometime in 2025.

Unfortunately, never, I'm sorry! I don't want to release content for OS when I know it's buggy and I can't fix it. Mac is just very unfriendly towards third party developers, and Tailor Tales relies on changing its own files (to create clothes and save files), and Mac simply blocks that, rendering the game unplayable.
The game has not been tested on Windows 11, so that may be why. However, I've known people who are able to run Tailor Tales on Windows 11, so the OS shouldn't be an issue. It's most likely a hardware issue. Tailor Tales does require 8GB of RAM.
Have you tried testing and launching the game via Steam? Sometimes that helps.
Yep I see the confusion here. You first joined Patreon in March 2022, when 19 chapters of Gray were released.
You then pledged again in July 2023, but never ended up updating the game, or didn't enter in the password of that month to unlock the new content. Hence why you never got the updated content!
I will send you an email with further instructions.
If you were a Patreon a while ago, then it must have been at the time where Gray's chapters 1 through 18 were out. That's the content you paid for, regardless whether Gray is now completely finished. The Patreon model is that you get the content you pledged for, and if you want more content, you'll have to pledge again. Hence why it probably said there's no more content, because this is where you stopped.
If you want to play Gray's route fully, you can play the free version on Itch or Steam, or pledge to the Patreon once more to get Gray's full route and his Plus content, as well as Aiden's full route.
However, if you say Gray's route was finished at the time, you can hand over your e-mail so I can check which month and year you were pledged so I can make sure and sort things out.
If the patterns are wonky, you can go into your Tailor Tales Folder, and browse to: Tailor Tales/www
In that folder should be a file called package-NoWebGL.json and a file called package.json. Rename the file package.json to something else, like package-old.json. And rename package-NoWebGL.json to package.json so that the game uses this file instead. Then reload the game.
Hopefully this should make patterns appear for you.
If you mean you placed it in the recycling/trash, then you can still get it out. If you mean you started a new save file, overwriting your old one, then it's a bit trickier.
If you played the new save file and choose a character and started reading a chapter, your old save file is gone forever.
However, if you didn't start a new route and never read any chapters and didn't customize any clothes, bought any items etc. then your back-up save file might still be intact.
Only switch to your back-up under my instructions.
1. Open the location of your Tailor Tales folder and browse to this location: Tailor Tales > www > save
2. There is a file in there called file1.rpgsave and that is your main file. Rename it to something else, such as "file1_old.rpgsave".
3. There's another file in there called file3.rpgsave and this is your back-up file. Rename the back-up file to file1.rpgsave to set it as your main file.
4. Open up the game and load your manual save file; you should now be running from your back-up file. that's only if you don't see your old save file/progress
If you installed the game through the Itch app, then the new update will allow you to continue playing with your old save file.
If you have a standalone version on your PC instead, then you must manually update it. Download the latest Tailor Tales version, and then find the location of your old Tailor Tales. Place the newly downloaded Tailor Tales in your old location and overwrite all files. That should have updated your save file.
Okay, I'll need to give you a file that you can replace in the game, is it possible for you to get on Tailor Tales' Discord and say something in the tech-support channel? Then I can give you that file and see if it works.
In that case, something definitely happened to one of the files in the game (not your save file, hopefully!), so follow the instructions I said above to keep your save file intact as you reinstall the game.
Before you reinstall, I'd like to get your Last Error.txt file. It's located in: Tailor Tales/www. There should be a text file in there called Last Error. If you could open it up and copy its contents in your post, that'd be great!
You can preserve your save data by going to your old Tailor Tales folder, and copying these folders: Tailor Tales/www/save and Tailor Tales/www/data/img/pictures/Fashion/Completed. Copy these current folders and place them somewhere else as you install the latest version. Once reinstalled, replace the new folders with the ones you copied. That should keep your save file intact as you get the latest game version.
Does this happen as soon as you open the game, or only when trying to load a save file?
I think this is a system error and you may need to reinstall Tailor Tales completely. You can preserve your save data by copying these folders: Tailor Tales/www/save and Tailor Tales/www/data/img/pictures/Fashion/Completed. Copy these current folders and place them somewhere else as you reinstall the game. Once reinstalled, replace the new folders with the ones you copied. That should keep your save file intact as you reinstall the game.
Sounds like it wasn't extracted properly on your computer, so the game experienced a wide array of issues, including being unable to save.
Since you stated you had it extracted it after all, I'm going to suggest playing Tailor Tales on Steam where it installs it for you. There shouldn't be any issues there.
