This is probably my favorite take on the "roll and land on a particular side" subset of dice puzzle games I've seen. the fact there's no end space really frees up the player and makes me have to think a lot more, very clever design choice. This could honestly be a great mobile game with how simple the controls are. Awesome job!
Really love the take on dice combat that y'all did here. The 3D dice integrate perfectly with the art style and I found myself trying to to roll certain dice so I could use their special power. I think with a dash or some movement option, I would have liked the game even more as I found myself walking a little slowly from die to die. Great job!
love the different effects that all of the guns have, so cool. Nothing is more satisfying than bursting down dice with a giant d100 rocket launcher. I ended up being able to kite all of the enemies in one direction forever, so I would have liked to see some walls or obstacles that would make me think more carefully about my positioning. Great job though!
Really creative idea, dice basketball rocks! I love the way that the probability works when shooting and how you have to react to your dice making you a better shooter or dunker, but I wish my team's AI was more developed so I could more reliably pass the ball. Really hard to do AI in an 48 jam though. I want to see this concept expanded, because the base is already fun and I think with better teammates it would be incredible.
I really enjoyed the combat encounters in this game. I felt like I had enough information to complete any encounter, but I really needed to plan ahead to make sure my rolls were used efficiently. Also, it was incredibly cool to dodge fireballs turn-by-turn, it makes me feel like I'm in the Matrix haha
I had a really great time trying to figure out the best way to maximize my cinnamon roll output, I was pleasantly surprised by how much depth the system has! I also really appreciate the 'roll' pun, in fact my friend told me if someone didn't make a dice bakery game for the jam he would super disappointed. I'm sure when I send him this it'll make his day :)
I didn't think I would like the physics-based DnD combat system as much as I did but wow is it satisfying. The game is already fun, but with more time, this game can be something truly special. Every attack was like a puzzle; I found myself trying to figure out the best way to ricochet dice to get maximum damage per turn. I think I would have liked the game even more if it featured different kinds of dice. Great job!
