One of my absolute favourite games this jam. The forgiving Perfect Freeze mechanic and the vastness of the game world made the experience relaxing and beautiful at the same time, so much that I can fully forgive the slight camera wonkiness.
Also the Cirno Spin was super pretty!
I feel like you captured exactly what Cirno would do on a day off on an icy day at Misty Lake. The game is full of such wonder and mirth and let me see an elegance in Cirno I hadn't thought of before. I love the spinning jump and the sensation of momentum.
Nice relaxing game. I had played an earlier version, but came back to rate it, and I noticed that you improved the camera movement and added the Perfect Freeze mechanic which makes the game much more forgiving. I also enjoyed the animations and the whole scenery.
This is the kind of game that I want to play when I just want to chill out and forget any problem that I had for a moment. The music is so calm, not to mention how gracious Cirno is when she is skating. XD
My only complaint is the camera movement. The movement is kinda wild so I had to keep the camera almost static during my entire run and only move it when I really have to move it.
I played the game here around minutes 2 in case anyone want to watch. :) Love how you gave the player 9999 perfect freeze after they got all objective so they can enjoy the game longer.
Superb and immersive ice-skating experience. Seeing her zwyoom on the water and under this night sky is so relaxing too.
Almost makes me wish I could watch her from the shore of the lake... (...wait doesn't that sound like some replay feature? Rewatching the player's movements from the shore of the lake? Nah I'm not crazy, I'm not suggestin' some replay feature, who knows how much hassle that would add to the devs?)
Really nice play area and good! Lookin'! Animations!
Who knew Cirno had this gracious side to her?
That's a really damn' good model. I actually had to switch browsers to play this game (it wouldn't load otherwise), but it was well worth it. Presentation was top notch, and skating around the world was a lot of fun (especially liked the spinning jump animation).
Goodness gracious, what a wonderful game.
It took me a bit to get used to the control scheme (I am not a keyboard/mouse guy by any stretch of the imagination), but once I figured it out, I lost so much time to the simple joys of chasing down ice cream and cake while enjoying the stillness of a winter night on a lake. It reminds me of being home, in many ways. The environment is gorgeous and well-rendered, and the halo effect/light trail is such a lovely addition. And the music though. The damn music. It's a perfect fit, with the right elements of wonder, reflection and solitude.
If there were controller support, this would be a perfect game for me.
Bravo!
the little pirouette Cirno does when she jumps at top speed was a really nice touch!
It's beautiful and feels great to play. The stage has a bit of a "demo" feel, but it's fun enough to just skate around. With better stage(s), this would have been a 5/5 jam game.
This is a highly polished game with a relaxing atmosphere.
Instead of feeling like playing a game, it's more like an experience of just skiing and having fun, and it's really amazing.
Your goal is to collect the items she requires, and you can use your perfect freeze to move across the ocean, simple as that.
Highly recommended.
Animation be smooth as heck, and I hope I'm not the only one to discover the Spin.
Amazing movement and incredible atmosphere! Shame those sunglasses in the thumbnail weren't in the actual game (at least that I could find :p). Nevertheless this game was an actual vibe, the music also really contributed to that. Very well done!
Comfy game. Visuals, music and mechanics all fit together nicely, and I particularly like the Cirno model and animations.
One of my favourites of this jam.
Really great movement and fun concept, shame there was no ending when collecting everything.
Music was pretty good, though its has a very noticeable loop
Thanks for playing our game! I made the music and actually noticed the loop was a bit too obvious right before you posted this comment, so around 4pm it was updated to be smoother
