In truth feel the same about the story, as the jam and writing proved more an exercise to share ideas for expanding on divergent lore than to do justice to theme in the very short time I had to work with. Seeing several good entries that also bring fresh perspectives, so hoping some of these sentiments stick even if the individual stories do not get continuation

Language used in the Saurian perspective is very lovely, would love to read more and glad the other comments already hint at continuation. The morale conflict feels admittedly weak, but that strangely feels appropriate and foreign regardless

Holy Funk Hunk! This entry had a little bit of everything, and all lovely

What a story! Also really enjoy the hand drawn image in the mood board just for the entry. I usually do not take in the mood boards, but glad I did for this one

Nice world building and morale conflict! The feeling of struggle and isolation comes off well in the setup. Going to imagine rat mamas all have beads for each brood now, a nice unique detail

Was lost at first but then it all clicked beautifully. Well done! The use of memories, rebirth, and cyclical journeys inter-meld nicely

Lovely lore building, a whole new playground of ideas to work with in such short space. As others have said, would be nice to see even echos of stories like these in the world building that is taking place with OPR worlds. I am a bit lost with adherence of the jam's theme, though that is just my feeling!

Very fun read! Great concept and execution with the theme. This group can have all sorts of misadventures in any setting

Great concept and nice play with the three factions. Having the Havoc work as a foil for the Plague even though for this conflict they are on the same side is interesting interplay.  A series of stories following the Plague in this way would be fun! While the story is strong, the central character did not seem troubled at all, so felt the theme's focus was not firm for me

Good writing, gripped me with all the little details. Always enjoy sniper stories. The central conflict was focused on the combat, personally could have used some more context about the morale conflict for the theme.

Liked the story and characters, with the difference in tone from the writing itself and the protagonist at the end a nice surprise! Had to struggle thinking afterwards how much it adhered to the theme, though

Very well done, enjoyed every bit. Also like now imagining the Saurians in new light

The flow and context definitely suffered due to having the time between two World Cup matches to do some research and submit an entry, closing out knowing I had just edged past the 500 word minimum. Felt I could get away with it by having readers fill in some of the blanks but after revisiting it a few days later it’s all quite rough. Thanks for reading, though!

Ending really stood out for me, nice way to execute the theme of the jam. Was initially finding the journal style hard to follow, but clicked for me a few entries in and the last bit felt excellent

Great writing and characters!

Nice flow and battle scenes. As pointed out before, the realization of some wrong doing felt sudden, though naturally if we had been given more space that could have been fleshed out easily in another outro section

Right definitely is dropping the reader into the middle of a story. The only time available to me for the submission was between two World Cup games so I focused on having clean writing that allowed others to fill enough of the blanks in but can easily expand at a later time some more exposition. Thanks for reading!
