Awesome. This is great! Excellent work.

(1 edit)

I learned I don’t have a very good memory! Maybe if it started out with only a single note but added more to the same song with each repetition, I would have had more luck :D Great work!

This is the submission that I played the longest by far. I was able to take out 1510 enemies before getting completely overwhelmed and I had a lot of fun doing it! Great idea, great execution, and excellent work :)

Nice work! The game looked very nice and I would have enjoyed a few more levels. I agree with another commenter that the movement felt a little slow and it would be worth trying out different speeds to find a sweet spot. Maybe this was intentional but I noticed that when the enemies die, their projectiles are destroyed as well which decreased the difficulty a bit for me. Great job!

Music and visuals were great! Very clever idea and great execution. Nice work :)

Great concept! The music was great and so were the visuals. Nicely done :D

Very fun game! The art was great and everything played very nicely. It was a nice spin on a well known game. Great work!

This fondly reminded me of something I played as a kid. The music was perfect and the level design was great. I liked the concept a lot! I think some kind of indicator for when the player hits an enemy, maybe a particle effect or sound, would have been helpful. Great work!

Nice job! As another mentioned, the biggest improvement would have been a texture on the ground so the player can tell which direction and how fast they are moving. The controls would have felt a little more comfortable to me if the player’s rotation was determined by the mouse rather than the keyboard to give more control over the aim direction. Great work!

Very nice! That escalated quickly :D Great work!

Thanks very much for playing and I am very glad you were able to play with another as intended. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks very much for playing and commenting on the game! I tried to keep the fighting mechanic very simple so that my 3 year old could easily play with his older sister and 2 of their friends. Because of this, the “fighting” ends up just being whoever hits the other harder gets the upper hand. The various values governing this definitely need some tweaking though and I would like to take your suggestion and maybe find a way to make it an “easy to pickup, hard to master” kind of mechanic. Thanks again!

Thanks very much for taking the time to play and comment on the game and thanks for the kind words! You definitely identified a bug or two that I also encountered during play testing, particularly the one where one player is stuck on top of the other. I would like to fix this one after the voting period is over. The second one is intended but needs some tweaking of the values or a better animation I think. The idea is that when two players collide (above a minimum force), whoever hits with more force will “bounce” the other, stunning them for a short time and making them drop one fruit. However, if a player hits a trap, I intended this to have a big penalty in that it bounces them very strongly and they drop all their fruit at once adding a bit to the chaos and unpredictability that I was aiming for. Thanks again for the feedback, very much appreciated!

Very nice! The atmosphere was very calm and enjoyable. Controls felt great. Voice, music and sound effects were perfect and I liked the mini story you created for it. You have a real talent for design and making projects look and feel pleasing. I hope to see a quick YouTube video on your channel about the dev process for this game soon.

Keep up the great work!

Aww, that’s unfortunate. With enough time for development, I would like to have players configure their own keyboard mappings. If you play the Windows desktop version and have a gamepad or joystick, that would have worked too. Thanks for playing!

Very nice! I had a lot of fun playing this one. That one coin at the bottom was too difficult for me. I couldn’t figure out how to get back out safely.

Nice work! That’s pretty fun! The gravity felt a little “floaty” to me and maybe overall everything could have been sped up a little more to make me really want to beat the clock. I enjoyed trying to pull off and land flips; having a cool visual and/or sound effect for landing a flip would be a nice addition.

I loved the unique look you created. Wow did that get difficult quickly :D. As another mentioned, zooming out a little would have helped me react a little better. Great job on a beautiful, complete game!

Great submission. I like the story and the aesthetics but would have loved to hear what this interesting world would have sounded like. Those arms looked sick! Nice modeling! 💪

Wow, this was a really fun game! I loved the art, animation and the music. I thought the wave design was well done too. Great job!

Nice work! Those whispers really gave a nice spooky feeling.  I really liked the music, the world, and the particle effects.

Great job! The intro screen, UI, animations, sounds, icons, magical effects: it all looked and felt very polished and was a lot of fun to play. Definitely something to be proud of :)
