No! I made everything myself :) Hands took the longest to make that's why everything feels empty

Very FUN and UNIQUE idea on this game! AWESOME WORK!!! GREAT ART!!! NICE MECHANICS!!! This was a fun challenging game. Loved it.
Awesome submission. Great work modeling the arms! You’re off to a great start with the mechanics as well. :-)
Well done modeling everything your self.. the game looks really weird, in a good way :)
Thanks :)
nice idea! try to export it into AR/XR and u will have an amazing game.
Nice job! I really like the atmosphere here and it was very easy to pick up and play. It seemed to alternate between waves of 2 and 4 enemies for me, so I gave up a little while after. Enjoyed what was there nonetheless!
Yeah lol thank you :)
I only had about half the time because I was finishing up another game jam that ended half way through. And I spent like 3 of the last five days just working on the arm model and then another day working on animations. So I only had about a day to work on the gameplay and level. So I didn't make much variety in the waves. But I am currently working on reworking this game, adding better visuals and stuff so hopefully a bit after the jam voting period ends I'll update with more waves and actual enemies :)
Great job modelling the hands yourself, that's super impressive! As a suggestion, the mouse sensitivty on the main menu should be a little clearer, maybe a slider that starts as a default value to give some context on was a good/valid value would be.
Thanks! Currently working on making the arms better after learning some stuff about blender. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I was worried if I set a slider I might scale it incorrectly for some people but I will definitely add better UI after the jam ends :)
Awesome entry! Kudos for creating everything yourself, especially the hands – they look fantastic! It's clear you put a lot of hard work into this.
Thank you! Yeah the arms did take up more than half of my time lol, it was my first time sculpting a finished model. Retopology took a while :(
It's awesome! you did a great job with the hands, I miss the sound, but in the time that we have, a superb job!
Definitely going to add sounds :) I'm also wanting to add actual enemies and better UI. Will be adding things after the review period :)
I enjoyed the graphics, controls, and animations. The shooting needs work. Adding sound would propel your game to new heights. Thank you for sharing and making a fun shooter.
Thank you :) will definitely add in sound after the review period
Solid job. I had some issues with the attack not always triggering when I wanted it to. I thought it was a cooldown between attacks at first but then was able to do rapid fire. Was that a power up? The movement was great! The UI and lack of sound was a bit rough but considering this was a solo effort it's pretty amazing. Great work!
Yeah there is this bug with the shooting, I believe it has something to do with how I set up the animations for the firing. I think if you are able to let go of fire and if your quick enough start firing another charge, it will not fire the previous charge. But thank you I appreciate it! Yeah the sound and UI definitely need some work
Pretty cool concept. I like the idea of having a different randomized power-up after every wave! Figured out the game mechanics pretty quickly, only problem was that the character kept turning right for some reason. Obviously, it needs sound as well but other than that, it's a pretty neat game.
Yeah sound is a huge thing I think it's missing. Thanks! I think the reason it was randomly turning right for you and this is just a guess. is because you might have had a controller connected and the stick was pushed weirdly. That's the only reason I think it could be happening but if not then it's a bug and I have to look into i
I was missing sound, should it be there? Nice work making everything from scratch, I think alike.
Thank you! and yeah no sound atm
The aesthetics are really cool everything looks great.
Thanks :)
Took me a while to figure out that i needed to look up! But after that it was clear to me to shoot at the balls dropping!
Liked the 3D modelled hands QOL improvements would be music and sfx to go with the cool visuals.
Really liked the clear control scheme tutorial on the itch page!
Thank you! yeah music and sfx is a big thing I will probably add after the voting period
The atmosphere looks great!! :D . Almost every time I play a 3D mouse aim jam submission I get sick instantly but this one, nothing at all :D The submission actually looks sick and those HANDSSSS!! Great work! ^^
thank you! They took a while to make :)
This game desparately needed sound, it took me a while to see the enemyies coming from above perhaps a little direction at the start would help.
yeah definitely, I didn't have much time so all the functionality of the game was pretty much done on the last day but I'm thinking about coming back to this project after the review period.
Adding sound, enemies, environment etc
very nice! i loved how ominous it felt, like almost post apocalyptic! as mentioned by someone else, some sound could really improve the general feel of the game, but it's great in my opinion :)
Thanks :)
Great submission. I like the story and the aesthetics but would have loved to hear what this interesting world would have sounded like. Those arms looked sick! Nice modeling! 💪
Lol thank you brother yeah 100% I'm thinking about touching up this game once the voting period is over. Appreciate it :)
Your submission page looked very good and professional! I like the 3d aspects of the game and I think I stared at the sun too long. Took me a little bit to figure out you had to shoot the diamond to start a wave off and that the spheres came from above! I didnt really move around much, just aimed and shot the red things. Maybe giving a reason to explore the arena would add depth. Adding music and sound also would help a lot for the game experience.
I havent tried 3d yet, looks difficult to do! Impressive visuals
Thank you! I appreciate it. yeah, the plan was for the game to be more polished but I had never created a 3D asset for a game either and the arms ended up taking like 3 days to finish with animations and all. And I started the jam half way through because I finishing up a different project.
I'm thinking about going back and touching a few things up. But I appreciate you playing :)
