Thanks!
Sorry to hear you had trouble though. Are you on mobile or PC? Because the browser version is PC only.
If you have an Android, you can play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.elstrawfedora.autobattler

Thank you so much!!

Sorry to hear you had issues with it. The game is really timing(almost rhythm)-based, and kinda ensures that players can't progress by just spamming mouse clicks.

Thank you for giving it a try though!

A whole lotta fun! I like how you regain control after using up your boosts, it gives the player some much needed risk-reward amidst the restrictiveness of the boost.

The simple art style also took the game very far, I was very engaged the whole way through!

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the mechanics gave you such a hard time :( The boat position after crashing could definitely use some work.

As for the direction of tilting, the canoe is supposed to move in the direction opposite to the oar, like how it works in real life. I tried adding a few visual indicators to show how strongly you're rowing and how damaged the boat is, but I will consider putting a better explanation of the mechanics in the future.

Yea it can be fun once you get into the "flow" ^__^ I would love to see some cool speedruns for sure!

Thank you for all your kind words!

Wonderful concept, bring a lotta joy to play it!

Love the interactables too, really enhances it. Some sounds would make this even better!

I love this!! Even though I got stuck at the bottom and couldn't get out for like 5 minutes XD

Like everyone else said, true to the soul of the inspiration

Very nice! Cute style and catchy music. I like how wall-jump heavy it is as well

Really interesting concept! Love the controls. The ship rotating when it hits a wall is maddening but I respect the idea behind this

This game is perfection! Never played a skating game but now I get the appeal

I love that its actually not too hard to beat, so I tried a couple times til I got on the main menu leaderboard. Great music too

Love the music, the graphics, the deceptively easy-seeming level. I can see this being fun to speedrun for sure!

It just me complaining, but I wish the plane crashed at 0 instead of 20 lol, tripped me up so much

Darn, sorry you had to deal with those issues. They seem to be exclusive to the WebGL build, but at least you got to play it some.

Thanks for giving it a try!

A lotta fun! I really like the freedom the player gets with the slowmo while also not making it super easy.

Personal preference feedback though, I feel like it'd be a little more enjoyable if the slow-mo was smooth, given how much time I feel like you (or at least I) spend there

Very fun! Good use of the momentum theme too.

Hopefully one day I can help Hilda get those wires back..

Charming game! I love the art and the mouse motion is really unique!

Only downside was jumping on the piano didnt play notes :(

Ah, I'm glad to hear you figured it out and enjoyed it!

There's a narrator who's supposed to tip you in on the spike thing, but there's a bug that makes the narrator sometimes not show, so sorry if that was the issue for you :/

Lovely game!

I actually really love the pickaxe movement mechanics, though I think it would help the player to know a little more how  HOLD UP+DIR and DIR are distinct, since it took me like 10 minutes to realize how to get across the first ledge, but once I figured it out, it was really fun!

What a pretty and atmospheric game!

I really enjoy the staple gun concept too! I love how the game doesn't really punish you for using a too many staples or anything, gives the player a lot of freedom.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!! It really means a lot!

That's a good point. Even without removing the mouse inputs, there's no reason we can't have both as an option. Will definitely add in the future!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad to hear you made it through.

So sorry you didn't get to submit though.. For some reason, it seems like my game's build doesn't always work correctly when you first start it up. If you restart the page and check again, you should see the leaderboard working.

I'll remember your score in my heart though <3

Oh wait thats intentional??? Haha sorry I had no idea.  But if its sand that makes sense.

It didn't happen every time so I was confused.

I love the concept! Once I realized what was going on I was blown away by the cleverness!

It was in only one specific scenario, if I jumped onto a floating platform on the edge of where a slope was, once or twice it fell straight through the platform. I'm guessing the slope and the straight side of the platform are separate objects and there's a bit of a gap in the collisions?

This was really fun!

My real only issue was that my ball would clip through the floor at several points, and the bouncy parts would sometimes act irregularly.

This little capybara is my hero!

Fun game! I like how the limit to the rocket charge gives a clear metric for how to gauge distance, especially at the start, and the level design is well incorporated with that.

Cute game, cute music!

I feel bad I couldnt finish it because I wanted dino to get home :'(

Thanks!

There's definitely more that could have been done to make the boat management a bit more intuitive.

Great concept! And not mind-bendingly hard, so actually motivating to try and get the highest score!

I accidentally closed my browser and spammed jibberish in another window because of this game. 10/10, this game is spectacular

So charming!

The environment looks amazing as well. I also really like how its challenging, but not terribly so. It'd be nice to have varying sounds for the goo blasts to keep it from sounding repetitive.

OMG This is the best one!!!
Full 5 stars, no notes whatsoever.

This one is great! Love the music, dialogue is really funny, and the grappling hook feels great.

Only wish is for the cooldown to be a little more forgiving.

I love the visual style!
I don't know if its a bug, but its hard to know the momentum and direction of the jumps based on the Cactadilla's swing on the thorns. Felt like the quickest way to ascend was to spam jump rather than time it.

This game is delightful!!

The sound design is unlike anything I've played before, it just elevates this game so much.

I think others said it but my only gripe is that the game sometimes punishes you for aiming directly at a planet, which can be a little disappointing when its part of the main objective it feels like.

This is really fun! I couldn't play too much of it, but I like the gameloop and the visual atmosphere is really nice.

If I had one point of critique, it would be that I think the game could actually work better without the explanation at the beginning. It felt like a lot of info at once, and like it says, you pick up the mechanics intuitively.

That was an awesome experience tbh. I love how the mechanics and the fast pace make it so learning how intricate the controls can be dont come to you for a while, but when they do, you learn to tackle the map so differently, just like a good foddian should! Sadly i never was able to beat it lol but 10/10
