I had a lot of fun with this game! I think having shoot bound to the mouse would have been better. I initially assumed there were only stat buff upgrades from the first few I was offered but was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the variety available.  Combining the projectiles with the animals was a sneaky devious move that in my opinion definitely made the whole game more cohesive. I wish the enemies had a bit more contrast with the ground as generally for me when playing video games (and this is a me problem) I tunnel vision into very specific things. This meant that while chasing one enemy I just wouldn't process the other one or multiple heading towards me, and I think if their color had been a bit brighter and if the grass didn't render on top of them that might have resolved the issue. This was a ton of fun, and I'll probably come back to this later to attempt to get a better score. Well done!

I found it frustrating that the space bar was the shoot button, and it made me bind it to my mouse instead 😅. I really enjoyed the upgrade system with its many great options. It feels like you have the bare bones of something great here, and I can tell the game wants to be something more, but it seems like you just didn't have enough time. For what it is, I really enjoyed playing it, and I would love to see this continued in a future round.

It felt like a GBC game from back in the day. I'm not overly great at games like this but can see how you could get addicted to the game loop very quickly. Sound was awesome. Didn't encounter any bugs and the story was clear from the outset. I liked how you killed two crows (sorry) with one stone with regards to this rounds task, combining both the projectile and animal into one. Cool game. Well done!

Great cutscene! I've already played your game three times already and keep improving my score, will definitely come back for more. The upgrade system is a fantastic addition, especially the homing crow and the options you give made me experiment with a few different strategies. Two suggestions, mouse button for shooting would feel more intuitive to me and I can tell you had a plan for a character for the green squares but for me personally the green blends too much with the background

Currently 4th on the leaderboard :D The art is gorgeous, the opening cutscene looks amazing! Solid game loop, satisfying upgrades and mechanics. Once I got a ton of crows going out and homing in at once it felt great compared to the first level, good progression.

Nice use of the task requirements to implement the animal as the projectiles!
