Definitely will be padding my time for a tutorial next time.

Aggreed, little sfx and simplest animations can make a game feel really good.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback <3

Ty for playing!

Thanks for playing! Sadly i had very little time left for tutorial.

Glad you liked it!

Backpack Battles is one of my favourite games. Have been toying with similar ideas, this is a very simple spin-off.

Tyvm for playing <3

Could not do a balance check, so there may be some OP strats. More of a proof of concept game. TY for playing and giving feedback

Yes, lack of a tutorial makes game harder to get into. Tyvm  for playing and the feedback <3

Suprisingly polished game. Well done! and congrats on the #1 place :D

Really fun game. Would love to see full version some day :D

Fun game, very expandable. Small thing, some text/labels are hard to read because there is no background or outline

Thx for playing! :D

Yes, definitely should've added more progression levels.

The solvability comes from symmetry. One thing to notice is that doing an action 2 times reverts back to old state.

While creating levels manually and with random generation, all i do is randomly put operations onto tiles and later pick some of the operations randomly and apply them. So you were close with your guess.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback :D

Thank you for playing! I should've put a button to mute sounds, will keep in mind for the next games.

Thank you! Later I realized that it is not enough to set simple rules to make a fair puzzle game. Levels can become combinatorial beasts even on small grids. I appreciate the feedback

I agree with Minachn on the first mission and general incentives. Also,  the inaccuracy of the weapon can be annoying sometimes. Although controlling the ship was difficult at first, it became very enjoyable after a while. After discovering the direction marker on the minimap, navigating the asteroids at max speed was a breeze. Overall a fun game!

Very fun and polished game!

I was aiming to practice that method. Happy to hear it was apparent. Thanks for playing :D

Thank you! :D

My idea was similar, but your execution is much better. Love the atmosphere and visuals. I had a lot of fun.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback. Glad you had fun :)

I am happy you liked the idea. I was aware that UI was clunky and unintuitive, sadly could not find a good solution in time. I was more motivated to increase level count as well :)

I like the idea and graphics. As a puzzle enthusiast, I would love to see more levels with different interactions.

Pros:

  • Graphics are lovely.

Cons:

  • Wave starting automatically made initial placement little intense.
  • Wish there was a volume setting because background music got repetitive after couple of retries.
