Game is very fun to play around with in chat. The energy system is a bit unbalanced since both training and races use energy meaning that if somebody is training, they will have a major disadvantage in the next race. Stat distribution as well currently means that someone who has never trained is never going to beat people who have trained any amount since the first 10-20 training rounds mean a ton in terms of overall performance. UX wise telling the player the current stat amount after its effect (by things like playing) would probably help a bunch so they dont need to check their blobs stats to see if they maxed that stat out.

Best way ive found to minimize chat spam is to relegate some portions to a supporting site that has the info from the game. e.g. in my slime system I have slime inventories for each person on the site so they can check that without needing to spam chat and chat only has the catching portion. For badcops fishing, the inventories were also on a site and now the catching is also on the supporting site (only active while a stream is running) with the stream only having the visuals on screen of people catching

A lot of stats are pretty much the same thing and have nothing unique about them apart from just being different redeems. Adding some way to make them differentiated would probably make it feel a lot better as well.

The best comes at the end.
A big compliment for your game entry. Combining twitch chat with a tamagotchi game is a very creative idea.

The social aspect of your game is great, bringing all together to play in chat.

Bu, your blobbos are very adorable, with very cute animations and the funny hats are brilliant.

I guess fighting twitch api and throwing togehter all game features in that short amount of time must have been exhausting for you Togis, but very impressive you managed to do so.

I like that the stats of my personal blob not only exists, but are actually relevant, for example for the running minigame, awesome you added that too.

I don't need to mention the small problems like chat spamming and balance, because you already know about and did already fix them in post jamming. I'm sure you will work on your twitch overlay to provide us with more more fun in the future and we are very blessed.

Big thanks for organizing this great jam, it was a pleasure to be a part of it.

It always feels special when a stream has their own custom overlay. Can't wait to see what you guys do with it in the long term. (after Wake Cup Kappa)

I agree that the chat spam can be quite disorienting. Hope you can fix that in the future.

Long live the blobs!! <3

Very cute blobs ^v^

And I like the little animations on them too.

It’s a really cool addition to a stream, though I always want to check the stats and all but feel bad about flooding the chat window. And overall I think the main downside (?) is that it creates a lot of additional lines in chat window so it is harder to keep up with actual messages in chat (but I am not sure if that’s something that is possible to solve)
