Super cool concept. I loved the dark fantasy vibes.

Yeah, upgrades are optional but recommended. Sorry Not Sorry for scaring you, the game is called "Collapse" for a reason. Thanks for playing!

Very cool game. I could only get to round 3 even on easy. Amazing for one week! Only real comment is that it is very complex and the tutorial is a bit overwhelming all at once (but good job having a tutorial in a Jam game!) Great entry!

By far the best game of the Jam I have played yet. So much polish and a complete product. Art, awesome. Music, awesome. Gameplay, awesome. Addictive, played to the end. (I noticed that the last armor animation has a frame with 2 colored pixels in the bottom left corner.) Fantastic Job!

Cool and cute game.  I really like the rate of the flying animation. I though it was a nice (crewel) touch to have to step on broken hearts to progress. I wish the coins were for something, and that the randomness of which colored heart I got would be less random (I got like 3 yellow hearts and 0 pink). I enjoyed it overall. Nice job!

Cute game and funny to boot! Darn racecar at 45 secs got me...and then a plane at 2.9 seconds. Big fan of the chicken sprite!

The polish on this game are awesome, the blood, the music, the satisfying punch sound! Fun building a tower for its own sake, but I am unsure if it really helps in combat at all (having the enemies fall didn't seem to help much). Really ambitious. Just getting to keep building after you die kind of feels cheap and I feel it took away from my building accomplishment. Overall a great entry, and just 1 or 2 iterations from feeling more complete. Great job! Would love to see this developed more.

I really enjoyed the art and the music ( the letters on the menu screen especially). I accidently burned up several time until I turned the difficulty down to 0, where I could just spam the next day button (too easy, but at least I got to see more of the game). I wished I could see my plant grow from day to day to see that I am making progress. Overall fun and cool concept. Good job!

...There's something suspicious about the title to this game...

Loved the art and the music! The orange theme gave me Tim Burton's "A Nightmare Before Christmas" vibes. Great job!

I love the ear flopping animation. I kept playing after 3 iterations hoping that there was more. That maybe I could zoom out even further and reveal a playable hell level. Good Job.

I liked the mood of the game a lot. It was too easy in my opinion and could use some harder enemies (maybe something that flies).

I really enjoyed how the game reacted to my decisions and the message about just being a cog. I also think I may be the villain and that was a valid way to play. Loved the art.

Very fun. I was so glad I a was able to oneshot the last level as player 2 because I had the hardest time with player 1. Could had been more forgiving with some boxes without horizontal spikes on the side but for the length of the game the difficulty had a nice arc. Great job!

Fun and very hard. I wish there was an option to have dash somewhere on the right side of the keyboard (WADS user). I really enjoyed the music and it felt right for the game. Good job!

Fun and very challenging. Maybe I was building my boat wrong but the difficulty ramps up too quickly in my opinion. I also think handrails to keep me from accidently falling off the raft would have help me a lot. All in all I really enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the art in the game and the theme, but I felt lost. I played through the starting area twice because I did not realize there were spells the first time. I did not know how to progress or if I had reached the end of the game. The controls say to use "S" to go though doors, but I did not find any doors to open (if there were any). Would like a full screen option because I kept clicking out of the window when trying to cast spells.

Thank you for the feedback. The clicking was intentional to encourage paying for more strength upgrades, but your suggestion will be taken into consideration.

I really enjoyed this and would love to see it further developed
