The sections are randomised right? That's pretty neat, makes every playthrough more challenging.
After jumping for a few minutes, I finally got the dark heart. I think this is a nice lil platformer! What I would do is add more mechanics, such as launch pads, maybe disappearing clouds, anything! But I get that you had little time.
The graphics are well made, and the controls pretty good too, the only thing lacking really is the Theme/Innovation aspect, you could've made the game more unique, I encourage you to experiment more!! The random generation is nice tho.

Nice game! The movement felt nice and the audio really helps dig in a satisfying clarity when obtaining items. I wasn't too sold on the application of theme, however; it felt more like I was still the same section and it continued to load in front of me. Though I did have a good time playing!

Cool and cute game. I really like the rate of the flying animation. I though it was a nice (crewel) touch to have to step on broken hearts to progress. I wish the coins were for something, and that the randomness of which colored heart I got would be less random (I got like 3 yellow hearts and 0 pink). I enjoyed it overall. Nice job!
Thanks for the feedback. fyi the hearts are linked to the randomness of the sections. if you make a few runs each run is different.
Great art and music! I'm not sure if the hearts with lighting are supposed to hurt or not, the game could use some threats to make it more engaging. Nevertheless, great work! Keep it up!
The breaking hearts do not hurt. you need them to get across.
