Can't get the camera to work unfortunately.  Holding RMB does kinda move the camera, but then LMB doesn't do anything.

thanks for the feedback!  Before my next 2d sidescroller i really want to spend some time making a more solid character controller, kinda like what mark did.

Interesting note about the background.  I tried a couple (a few brick backgrounds), and i found them all too busy so i went with the simple blue.  I knew it still looked bad so I'll have to consider that

couldn't figure out how to expand past the river on the second level.  Cool idea though, kinda almost reminds me of offword trading company

I liked it.  Not sure why on the first playthrough all the text is jumbled, then on a second it's all plain.  I'm not sure if you were supposed to be able to grow blocks vertically, but holding down the button to just grow blocks was a little slow.

Music and SFX were very nice!

each box is the same scene, with exported vars for what it scales up/down to.

This could've been much better, but the controls are way too crazy.  Just lightly grazing the w key sends you flying to the other side of the map.

This is an impressive work.  Unfortunately I think the crabs are just too dang strong, once the main level starts I was barely able to kill just 1.

The initial idea got a good laugh out of me though, I love the idea.  This is definitely up there for games that I cannot believe were made in 4 days

I liked this a lot!  Love me a good sim game and crunching numbers.   Nice work!

I'm not able to figure out what to do, might need a hint in your description.

I noticed an issue I ran into.  Your sprite jitters as it moves.  This was fixed in godot 4.3 if you turn on 2d physics interpolation.

Love the take on the theme.  The main characters sprite looks sweet.  Combat definitely needed a bit more polish, and the controls felt a bit awkward.  I think some more work on the character controller would make this much better
