Coooooool !
I really like the look of this one. The steampunk-esque crawling fortress with the cartoony yet calming beach somehow works together and sticks out to me. I also noticed that maybe there is a Mr. Krabs vs. Plankton reference? That would be funny.
Clever idea, very fun game! Good job for top 100 guys :)
this is one of my favorites that i've played so far! the art and music were super polished, and the gameplay was compelling, which added up to giving the game a really goofy fun factor that i loved. it could use some balancing to make it more challenging, but either way i had a great time.
i really think that the player's construction should be part of their collision bound (kind of like Tumiki Fighters) so upgrading has a downside. and that potentially even parts could get broken off and carried away by the enemies (and maybe even used by them)!
Loved every part of it!
i HAD to check this one out after I saw Cameron Paxton's upload on Youtube. You.... you made nearly 13 minutes of music in four days....? That's... genuinely terrifying.
This game was one of the most fun games I've played this jam! This Vampire Survivors-esque gameplay loop is really freshened up by the ability to build and place my upgrades where I want. I'm not sure if their placements had any actual effect(?) but I enjoyed piecing them all together nonetheless. And the intro to the game is extremely charming with a great hook of a twist. And of course I love the music very very much. I hope this one gets more recognition, great job to everyone involved!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out! Really appreciate the kind words, and very happy you're enjoying the soundtrack 💚
Very cool, the art and procedural animation of the plankton city was so amazing. It is incredible that you were able to create such a polished and complex game in 96 hours, you seem to have mastered godot :)). The only downside was the difficulty I think, after your first weapon upgrade, the crabs don't seem to be much of a threat (but balancing a game in such a small amount of time is probably very difficult)
I love the way your crab/city moves, and how clunky and crazy the town can get, pretty sweet idea. <3
Enjoyed the crabs! Am in fact a big survival horde fan and have to say this is my favorite iteration of this for the jam. 3D art in jams is such a marvel, super impressed with the quality. Will say, I had no clue how the upgrade system worked. I would click on upgrades and watch in bewilderment as nothing happening lol. Once I realized you had to drag them into slots the game clicked. Did the game have an end goal or was it endless? Do always enjoy when games have an ending we try to get versus the "keep going" mentality. Maybe my only nitpick atm. Regardless, good stuff!
Thanks so much! The game does have an ending at the end of the 3rd stage (usually takes about 10 minutes or so). Appreciate you taking the time to check it out!
CRAB SOUP!!! The page is beautiful and I love the cinematic. The polish is crazy for a game jam.
Super funny concept! The music and animations made it even more funny! Good job!
Such a cool entry. The idea of moving tower defense is awesome, and the art, music, and polish is impeccable. I loved how ridiculous the town looked by the end and how satisfying it was to mow through crowds of crabs! This is a really insane product for a game jam, it really felt like something I’d paid for. Amazing work by all.
I was a little bit confused when I started the game as to how to upgrade the city and what I was supposed to do - I didn’t realize you upgraded every 30 seconds so everything seemed to be really random. It can also be really easy to get overwhelmed by crabs and get stuck by trees and lag until you die. I also got a heavy lag spike on one level, and when I died I lost all of the crabs I’d gotten the whole game :(
The web version is obviously extremely laggy but I was still able to have a lot of fun with it. This could make for a super cool full release with some more mechanics and fleshed-out gameplay!
Super well done, a nice concept and the game itself is very polished. Looks great too, I love the intro!
Well done :)
thanks Guy

This game is incredible, just a mindblowing amount of polish for a game made in such a short time. It's even got a fully animated opening cutscene, absolutely insane. This game could be a proper release if you just added like a bunch more house parts and some more enemy variety. It's really fun! Well done, excellent entry :D
Fun indeed. Love the style and presentation. I figured that performance would be an issue when scale is involved, especially in a game jam and especially when WebGL comes into play. Really polished though. Real good job. GG
Ridiculously fun and creative game. Well done!
Really great game, the fact this was made in 4 days is actually ridiculous. My favourite game I've played in the jam so far. The lag was putting me off at first but I am so glad I persevered. The core mechanics were really clever and implemented well, and even the tasks that you'd think would be more tedious like wood collection were really satisfying and fun to do. Felt sad when it ended as I just wanted to keep playing! Great entry!
this game is wild omg, I love it love it love it. Addictive, satisfying, stylish, omg. I loved building my Howl's moving castle ahh fortress. If you ever keep working on this pls lmk! I wanna see more stuff with this (and a bit more of a challenge hehe >:))
surprised there's not more reviews for this lol
Tell your friends 😅
