Nice work on this! I really like the way you implemented the scaling mechanics.  And are the puzzles procedurally generated?  Very cool game!

Developer(+1)

thanks for the review, no they were placed by me, adding more puzzles inside each dome, procedurally generated would be a cool feature to have.

Very simple, but still very enjoyable game. Great work!

Another great gem in context of great animations and graphics. The game features really simple aim but it's really well designed.

best of luck!

Be sure to check mine as well. :)

Pretty simple game but cool mechanics. Good job.

I'm glad that you liked it

Nice game, you really nailed the aesthetics. I was a bit disappointed when I found out how simple the puzzles were though. It was also a bit confusing to figure out how to enter the domes, you might want to put the instructions in game instead of just in the description, as I've found this makes it easier for the player to figure out what to do. Do you think you could try my game out?

Developer

thanks for the feedback, I'll try something like this next time.

I really liked the recursive nature of the puzzles! And unlike others here I kinda wish it was more convoluted and involved going into smaller and smaller little house thingies in a circuitous maze. I have unconventional tastes though, apparently. Anyway, great game haha!

Developer (1 edit)

yeah it would be cool to implement more puzzles into this game haha

A bit more time to understand the mechanics wont be a bad thing but it's a jam ! The idea is cool !

Super fun game, could maybe use a little more guidance, but fun non the less. Good job!

Submitted(+1)

this took me a while to get, but its very cool!

Took me a lil bit to figure out what to do, but real wow moment when you figure out the scaling between domes! Very cool concept!

cool concept

It feels a little strange to shrink with up key and grow with down key, but maybe that's only me. Great entry!

Developer

it was like, up like zooming-in and down for zooming-out haha

The size scaling, model animations and music and atmosphere were all great! I love the nested buildings. I wish the character could move just a little bit faster, I felt like it was a little tedious at times running from place to place. Really cool interpretation of the theme!

Submitted

The sense of scaling was awesome! I like the clean art style and models. Got lost for a while in the beginning but once I figured it out I found myself wishing I was faster, even with the sprint I wished I went even faster. I could see the animation for scaling getting tedious for longer puzzles. Music fit the style and the whole premise has a really cool vibe. Good stuff!

I'm glad that you liked it, its motivating to see comments like these.

I would love to see the main concept implemented with other mechanics. It's a very interesting approach to the theme. I like the hint with flashing light in the domes. One small detail is that there should be a only one movement speed, there is no need to walk if I can run.

Developer(+1)

I see, so basically the walk should only be left if the game had mechanics that requires more precision movement, right?

Submitted

Yes! or if the game has stamina as a resource that can be use to other actions/movements.

An interesting puzzle. It took me some time to understand how to enter in the domes, but after that the game is enjoyable to play, it's short enough to not feel repetitive despite it's simple gamplay.

Well done

Got lost pretty quick. Wasn't sure what to do or how to do it. Controls were not intuitive. I could not enter the domes. It was slow to navigate to them. I learned to shrink. Then, it was even slower to navigate. Rotating screen was a bit unwelcoming to have to do at first, but I seemed to be facing the doorways in the wrong direction. Polishing the FTUE would help a lot. Interesting concept!
