This is a fun little game!

I really likes the aesthetic of the level format and the music.

I think it may be useful to add either a visual or a sound effect when the gun is reloaded and able to be shot again. I had a few panic moments when I was like "C'MONNN RELOADDD" and I was spam clicking lol.

Great work!

Thanks! We're glad that you enjoyed it!

There's something satisfying about eating/absorbing other units, haha.

Thanks for the feedback!

We kind of passed around some ideas of having it more involved so that it felt more like ramping up, so hearing you double down on it kind of makes us want to revisit it.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! glad you enjoyed playing it!

Thanks for the feedback!

That's a pretty interesting idea. We plan on going back to rebalance some of the number for how growth and speed works. Nothing is off the table if we think we can pull it off.

Thanks! We're glad that you liked it. We tried to make something that could get challenging with color changes while keeping it simple overall.

I definitely was playing your game for a good while trying to get the hang of where to position myself. I'll have to circle back around to it again and see if I can get on the top of the high-score list ;P

Some of the punches were not quite connecting when they seemed like they were within the hit range.

I like the style and the sound effects that you had going on with it, though!

Thanks for the feedback!

We spent a decent bit of time trying to come up with an interesting game style that some of the common things got away from us till the last minute. As soon as we published we noticed the colors were WAY too similar for yellow and orange and we forgot to add the "in-game" rules and controls to our little KANBAN (oopsies).

Hadn't heard about the performance issues, yet, so we'll take a look at it and see if we can see what could be causing it.

Hope you had fun with our game, I def enjoyed what you did with yours!

Yeah, we ran short on time and wanted to put the controls and game info internally, but after we realized the redirect hit to a new window we cringed a bit, haha.

We really appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! We have a few other ideas in mind to maybe make it level-based and possibly have a shop between rounds.. maybe.. haha

We're trying to find the sweet spot with the inertia, because we've had feedback from a few people about it being a little TOO excessive, but we definitely still want to keep the mechanic in the game.

We appreciate the feedback!

Dangittt! You beat my top score haha.

We appreciate the feedback you gave us. We knew there were a few colors that were really close, but hadn't thought about using shapes to differentiate them, too.

Hope you had fun with our game. I know we had a fun time with yours!

Man.. this is hard haha.

I took me like 5 minutes to realize I was peddling backwards and that's why I wasn't going forward.

It'll take some practice for me to get it since my record so far is less than 6 seconds haha

Thanks for the feedback!

We've been back and forth on how we wanted the mechanics of absorbing the orbs and pulses to be. We definitely still need to do some tweaking with the growth and speed rates to make it a little more fluid, but we wanted to have some difficulty exchange for trying to get too many of the bonuses at once.

Hopefully we can get some of the bugs out with getting stuck on some of the walls soon, but we're glad you enjoyed it!

Haha.. yeahh.. we had some placeholder assets while we were making the current ones in aseprite.. and after we turned in and I was playing I realized they were WAY too close in color to each other lol. Def something going on the fix list.

We appreciate the feedback and hope you had some fun!

It sort of reminds me of some of the game mechanics on Crash 4. It's a really cool concept. Great job!

Man... what a solid game.

It does a really good job at predicting where your moves will be which adds another dimension of difficulty to it.

Really great job with this one

Gives me a Sekiro vibe.

If you had a parry function in it, that would be top notch.

Great job!

Def reminded me of some old school Jurassic Park arcade games and I really loved the nostalgia of it.

Given the time we had it performs surprisingly well.

My only criticism would be it seems a little bit of a stretch for the "one shot" theme since we are continually shooting throughout, but I really enjoyed your game!

Great work!

This was way more difficult than I thought it would be, but was super fun.

I should have paid attention at first to how the "shooting" worked because I didn't realize it was the same as the "launch" function.

I both enjoyed and got frustrated at this one (in a good way lol)

Great work

Definitely getting some "Vivi" vibes from the main character.

I have the bad habit of just jumping into games without reading the controls on description and should have known I only had one shot xD

I really like the art, music, and interface you had here. Great job!

Thanks!

We were a little strapped for time with putting a controls page in the game itself, so we had to put them in the description but we hope to refine the game more with everyone's feedback.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback and trying out our game!

We were tweaking a lot of things last minute that we probably should have had down a little more concrete in the earlier phases with the concept of it.

As promised.. I came back for that high-score ;)

The UI and quest setup was really cool. The parrying worked most of the time, but it seemed like there were occasional parries that didn't quite line up. I did like the power attacks that hit everyone in an AOE and gave me like 5 kills at once.

I think if the map was a little more intricate it would really push this to the next level.

Great work!

Thanks!

We messed with the volume a bit while adding some of the other sound effects at the end and didn't notice it was too quiet till after the submission time. Ideally we'd like to put a sound control into it.

This was more difficult than I had expected haha.

It's probably just me being bad at it, but I feel like having the option to use left and right arrows to control the gun direction could be cool, too. I found myself accidentally clicking off screen when I was trying to get the angle just right.

Some of the people on that leaderboard have way higher scores than I could pull off xD

Haha, man.. the sound effects of letting go had me dyinggg.

Fun game and kinda tricky to get the hang of at first but I really enjoy it.

The graphics are giving me "Ape Escape" vibes.

Fun little game and I enjoyed the concept of it. The UI was really clean.

It was cool to see a turn based game with the one shot concept.

I liked that you worked in some RNG with the cards to determine how your turn would play out. I had a couple turns where I burned all my ammo but didn't get a reload. Guess I gotta play a little more conservatively rather than just maxing out damage.

I enjoyed the theme for it and the execution.

Definitely on theme for the jam.

I'm always a sucker for music and sound effects that set the mood of the game and the little funky groove had me running it a few times haha.

On the balloons that are running opposite directions, is there a programmed timing when they all line up or is it randomized? I had a couple levels where I ended having to wait for a while to get them to actually line up. That's my only real criticism.

Clean game!

Having to try and quickly decide the angles you need to hit during the level start really snapped my focus in (and the music was a solid choice).

I had a lot of fun with this one and basing the gameplay on lighting and geometry was really unique.

Great job!

Definitely a unique take at the theme haha. It was a fun concept and the music paired with it nicely and kept me hyped up to keep playing each round.

There were a couple spots, most notably in the bottom left corner of the map, where seemed like my character was getting caught on a collision box that didn't visually appear.

All in all, it was a fun little game. Let's see how long my score stays on the leaderfart ;P

This was a super original approach to this Jam. I jumped the gun and expected a WASD control but when I saw it was time to bust out some geometry it hyped me up.

Really enjoyed this interpretation of one shot!

A fun homage to frogger.

Was a cool take to add more barricades between roads. I'll probably have to circle back to this game later to try and get the high-score ;)

Really cool art and gameplay.

The music is turned up a little loud that it's causing some audio clipping, but I saw the added mute button which made it easier.

Maybe I was doing it wrong, but I wasn't able to add the trampoline under the cat.

Overall it was a neat game idea and execution!
