Agreed. You could have skipped them with Ctrl-K but I should have made that a bit more obvious...

Thanks for flagging this. I did have coyote time but must have broken it at the last minute.

The music changes and chunky pixels are lovely. In the final section, when the red floor chases you I didn't feel much pressure as the floor was out of sight after a while. Otherwise, very good!

This is really cool! Feels super polished, the audio and animations are especially nice!

I really liked the opening story... but the grid never appeared for me... :(

So this is a 1-bit version Reigns or Sort the Court. I like a lot of the flavour text, newspaper, events, etc... However, there didn't seem to be a way to lose the game. I won with like -7000 money and -1000 people? Nice entry anyways!

Thanks so much! Definitely planning to update it so stay tuned.

You will have to start a new game to "fix" it. I can't upload a fix right now but will do so as soon as the jam is over.

Hi, sorry about that... Will be fixed in 2 days once the jam is over as the project is locked right now :)

Is it too high or low for you?

Haha, thanks for the laugh

Thanks for such a detailed comment. I have fixed the majority of the save game bugs and an currently redoing the end game and parts of the tower (hopefully this solves the soft locking but an auto save just before the end is a very good idea, thanks).

Really nice vibe and execution. Very impressive.

Very easy to pickup and play. Nice and chill. Well done!

Ahhhh no... I knew it was possible but only found out like 5 minutes before the jam end. Sorry about that...

That's a better name...

Very fun and cute but some spare meeps would be good in some levels :)

Cool concept with nice art. Moving the brush felt a bit odd, would have prefered mouse movement... Levels have potential.

This game has serious sauce. I wish the guns reloaded in the background (didn't feel good to swap back to a gun with no ammo) but I understand that would be diffcult to do with the blood/ammo mechanic.

Wishlisted!

I think starting the player by the mines would have improved the onboarding process dramatically as I was stumbling around for a few minutes at the start not knowing what to do. Once I figured everything out, it all clicked in to place though. Nice art and sound! Good job peeps

I like the music as you build up. Unfortunately, I think the game crashes and didn't repond to any inputs at one point. Good job, though :)

I liked the puzzley parts of this game. I didn't quite see the tooltips initially, making them a part of the UI would have been a big improvement. Nice job :)

Huh, you got me. I really like that the game doesn't tell you about the twist on your first time around. The best moment in any game I've played in the jam so far! Very good job :)

While I would personally keep the suprise of the twist, once you complete the first "tetris" bit, some communication about the dark/light bits of the blocks would have gone a long way.

This was quite fun and well made. I especially liked the opening cutscene and "tutorial" message. The variety of items and their collision shapes suprised me as they seemed quite polished for a 48 hour jam -- good job!

Very nice music. The game is fun -- the little bubbles that float up, rotating icons in the top right are good touches but leave me wishing there was some audio feedback too. The quips that the bear says also help maintain my interest. Major improvement would be with some sort of loss condition or a way to win -- it looks like you're working on that anyway so that's cool. Good job, keep it up :)

Thanks — you won in spirit.

Ah ok I will look into that. It's annoying, I really think jams should allow you to fix bugs after the date... At least I'm not the only one I suppose

Thanks, I've fixed that bug but can't deploy a new build until the jam is over... what do you mean by "after lose shop stops to give you more items"?

Thanks, I've fixed that bug but can't deploy a new build until the jam is over :(

Good job with only 5 hours. Would be cool to see if you updated it.

The art and music are such a nice vibe. I couldn't get the game to work though unfortunately. :(

I like the limit of only 2 blocks, checkpoints would have increased my enjoyment a lot though, lol. Overall, very nice.

The art is very nice but doesn't seem to be much choice with the gameplay and all runs feel the same. Overall, nice job though.

Very fun game -- turning enemies into platforms is a stroke of genius. The only thing I would improve is the camera which led the game feeling quite hard in parts. Also, lovely art style.

Very fun gameplay loop and good music. The score ticking up as you fell down was a nice touch. Well done.

I enjoyed this. One suggestion: perhaps the camera could have been zoomed out so you could see the whole level?

Well done.

Very impressive scale for only 48 hours work! I enjoyed a lot of the game especially placing lights but found myself confused often as there was no/little indicators of resources increasing. But overall, very cool!

thanks for the kind words. the game has lots of jank and, honestly, I gave up on it because i just didn't think the game was that fun so it's nice to hear you found some positives. i agree with all your points but i don't think i'll be updating this game but thanks again!!

The mechanics are really interesting so you definitely have room for expansion if you so wish. Good job!

Agreed with the other commenter - definitely gives me nostalgia for the flash days. Very solid game. I enjoyed the music and FXs when killing enemies but didn't really understand the vortexes.
