I was confused at first on how to do anything with the character without the character immediately dying (and how to restore the character). But once I figured that out, there was a solid gameplay loop up until I couldn't find a way to create the corners and build past a single level. Great for a 48 hour jam though!

How does your entry fit the theme?
The game Sand and Sweat follows the theme according to the 2 interpretations. Our main goal is to build a pyramid, but besides that we improve the character to make it easier.
What would you like feedback on?
We'd love to know about the gameplay loop and how nicely the mechanics are done. Is there any creativity in this game for the player
What assets did you use (if any)?
Sounds - Freesound.com
Plugins - FMOD, Unity Atoms
Art - By our hands ;)

Why i should pay for gym? if i dont pay it in real life? GG
I think starting the player by the mines would have improved the onboarding process dramatically as I was stumbling around for a few minutes at the start not knowing what to do. Once I figured everything out, it all clicked in to place though. Nice art and sound! Good job peeps
Everything was very polished and the art is great, you also took a very good take on the building up theme. I think the only thing I would personally change would be to make it be a little clearer what the gameplay loop is at the start, and for the initial upgrades to be a little cheaper or for the player speed to be slightly faster? Overall though it was a very good game and I enjoyed playing it
Great production value, I smiled every time I got a new upgrade! The sun tan lotion made me laugh audibly as well. It was a little tricky to figure out exactly how I was supposed to build the pyramid at first, and the game kind of ended for me when I finished the bottom 4x4. I can see this having a lot of fun cosmetics in the future. Good work!
I like the concept of this game a lot. The graphics look great, sound design is well done and the game is very well polished. There isnt very much of a challnge to the game though and the pacing is a bit too slow even with the upgrades but other than that you guys did a great job making a fantastic game in a short amount of time.
Hi! Best breaking bad game I have ever played. Super chill, smooth and well-executed game. I have no suggestions. The game runs well. Looks amazing. Feels great and easy to understand. You and your team should feel proud. :)
Hello everyone,
First of all, I wanted to say that I had a great time playing your game. The graphics are superb, and the concept is very entertaining. I like the way the character upgrades, and the fact that the 3D model changes accordingly brings me a lot of satisfaction.
However, there are a few aspects that confused me. Understanding the function and placement of each building is a bit complicated at the beginning. The currency is also not very clear, but you quickly get the hang of it. I don’t know why you can paint the stone blocks though.
I’m not sure if the game is supposed to continue after reaching 100% or if I encountered a bug.
Thank you for sharing your game, it’s one of the best!
Hi, One of developres here. I'm not sure that i got you right, but i'l try to explain it in other way: Goal in this game is to build a pyramid. So if you don't colorize block, rows of same colored briicks will be destroyed, you'll get some money for it, but you will become more far from your game goal. So you can decide to upgrade first, or build the pyramid longer without any upgrades. For now game has a critical bug - game stucks after you build first floor of pyramid, so for now colorizing bricks just makes you closer to softlock
