And also I wanted to know why?

Gabriel it hit me hard when you said your family dog is also reactive. I never thought I could reach someone else that shares the same sentiment and reality!
Thank you for the comment, I love your description of the frustration/love relationship we end up having with our reactive dogs.
Mine is reactive out of fear, so, it's really magical when we can play without interruptions, and I get to see his happiness.

Thank you again, this comment will live rent free in my head for a long time, my friend.

I can't tell you enough how grateful I feel for having this comment.
hahah you even shared your game knowledge, and to your friends!
I was really hopeless when I submitted, you helped me become hopeful again.
now I want to update it, polish, then it can die in peace.

Nice how you speak of love sentiment, that's my family IRL, so I really tried put care and effort as much as live it.
Any deviation is purely a skill issue lol.

I wish you da best game development spirits, my friend.

Super interesting game, I loved it, congratulations!

Superb!

I wish there was either a dash or run to traverse faster when you get lost and backtrack. Otherwise, I'm in love, the world is alive, yet peaceful. I love spamming flying; I hate when that is limited. You explored it in level design, and the music is the best part, 3-4 variations of an ambient-theme, that's so much. Very immersive... Congrats! Amazing game.

What a MasterPeace(ful) game!

Super cool idea, simple does not mean bad, you prove it.
I wish there were an ending screen, like thumbs up from grandpa or some different screen to acknowledge.
One time I started going from left to right in top speed, super funny.
Great submission

Hey broo LaserPanzel, yesss it's super poorly explained :(
I think I'll come back to this project in the future, and then I'll kindly ask you to play again if you have the time.
I mean to introduce a timing bar, as a better visual indication of when is the best time to do a button press action, and train the dog.
The music is heavily inspired from Pearl Jam's Black, sorry if you already knew

Yes, I'll be doing exactly it after the deadline.

I appreciate you coming and checking, the game, that I put effort and meaning into.
May good things happen in your week/life

Vivanter there seems to be subpixels (fractional, not rounded numbers) on title animation and other places, is that what you mean as cheating? unfortunately Defold animations, are continuous by default, it's a good use case to recreate this functionality in steps.  But otherwise, its 64px, I upscaled for every other use in Itch.
Sorry for the poorly explained mechanics and controls. I find it's hard to playtest alone :P

I super appreciate you checking this out, I'll think of this throughout the day and wish something good back to you.

Aww appreciate the feedback, I didn't even know I wanted fever dreamy aesthetic until now. Thanks for trying this out.

Thanks for the feedback PBeS my friend, let's stay on the side of the road!

nice sounds

dang bob

broke the 5th wall

I loved losing at this game

I bought it though.
. . .
super well rounded game, nice submission, very immersive

heh I apologize for not delivering as polished and bugfree, thanks for the feedback my friend

Bro, the others comments put better than me. Like this is very high level of game dev,  congrats on the submission!

Fun endless running, nice background graphics, very accurate crown hit detection. The day cycle hurts my eyes a little bit though hahah. Good submission!

Oh buddy, such good comment to read, from a developer perspective. Thank you lots <3

I like how many enemies there are, the tutorial is also very good. Keep up :)

One of the best arts I've seem so far in this jam. My most preferred gameplay style as well! I love parrying mechanics and timed movement.  My Darkness is very hard to beat though, I wished I could've beaten it with timing and fast reflex, but I only got it by button smashing the X.  Would love to see all the features you planned fully implemented, consider adding after the jam.  An idea I had, that maybe you could invert the colors for your darkness? Just so they are a little different to look at. Lovely submission, congrats!

I got to wave 8, it's very slow to fill the bucket. I completely loved the kiting mechanic, will definitely borrow for my future games. The weapon progression is fun, the spawn of the enemies is very cool, sometimes there is more flys, other times there is more mages.  But very hard to finish filling the bucket. Great submission.

Very nice graphics. Took me a while to understand that this was in made in 3D, it looked so 2D.  The jump mechanic is different from other platforms and it's fun to learn. I found myself dying of unexpected ways. Overall fun submission :)

lol my tab closed sometimes due to using CTRL to kneel and accidentally pressing forward W. The art is great to look at, yet hard to see, it kinda puts a strain in the eye. I didn't manage to finish because Im having a headache :( Ill come back later.

Great art drawing. Simple yet intriguing gameplay. Congrats on this submission!

Bro thank you so much. Having you on my comment section means a lot. I'm happy you liked, soon we'll be making more games again. ♾️

Thank you very much David! This feedback was so good that I had to speedup and check for myself. It's much better, considering checking it now to compare.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, in fact I went and speedup the loop a bit. It really does help :)

I like the levels. Maybe you could add a cooldown to this jump so you have it less `bouncy`? Nice submission overall :)

Nice level design. Nice use of enemy as springs. Nice use of lights turning on and off in the last level. The  way that when you die you restart the enemies and platforms together with the snappy control would give off a very fun speed running opportunity, maybe a timer? Overall great fit for this Jam, congrats.

Max I got was 204! Very cool Idea, i like the randomness. Congratulations on this submission!

Lovely game, I missed the music though. Maybe longer gameplay?

I enjoyed it a bunch, it took me a while to figure out how to shoot. Maybe more tutorial? Great submission!

Thank you very much!

The art is so on point, snappy. The higher resolution drawing match the aesthetic perfectly. The camera sight on being detected is so fun.  I'm kinda wishing I could come with these ideas myself. Very well done.
