Thanks! Glad you liked the game. We didn't have time to finish our own pirate song loop, so that one's actually a third-party asset. Wish I could've taken that credit ;3

Thanks for playing it! The coins seem to be a common grievance, and we definitely agree with you on that haha.

Thank you! The gameplay needs quite a lot of tuning to make it feel crisp and satisfying, definitely agree with you there.

Thanks, glad you liked it!

Thank you for the compliments! Glad you liked it. The inspirations for many parts of the game were definitely mobile games, I think we pulled that part off better that we anticipated. The aiming sucks; it's actually still a placeholder system that we didn't have time to replace haha.

Thank you, and thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, and thank you for the feedback! Music and VFX definitely need improvement. The current map generation is hilariously still a placeholder system that we made on the first night XD. It's not using lanes, exactly, but the random spread fields of pickups are actually supposed to have islands in them as well. I took that out temporarily and forgot to put it back in.

Thanks for playing it! The game could definitely use more VFX, agree with you there.

Thanks, glad you like it :D

Thank you for the review! We had a lot of sounds lined up to be implemented, but we ran out of time.

Thank you! We definitely spent all the development time on tech, like the nerds we are. Never quite got around to balancing it. The boat physics I wrote had me input the salinity and temperature of the water at one point. Glad I backtracked on that.

Never even tried it on Chrome, both of us ran Firefox haha. The cannon mechanics are definitely subpar, and we meant to change them at some point. Naturally, there was no time for that. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! The cannon mechanics are actually still a temporary patchwork solution that saw their way all the way to release somehow.

Stop lasering all my sailors! Don't really get it, but nice effort!

Fun game, got a bit too greedy loosing my data a few times ^^;

This game is very confusing and hard to understand. Feels like there is a dominant strategy as well, where deviating from the obvious best play at any given time is simply bad. Overall, a complex and interesting submission. Well done!

My ears hurt so bad from that initial sound effect blast, owie! Nice idea. Don't think the controls work as intended. Overall, well done! Could have used some more testing before launch; we've all been there.

Liked how the gameplay was introduced and expanded, nice work :D

Quite simple and easy game. So loud, blew my headphones right off! Would have liked to see more, nice job!

Very short and simple game, would have liked to see more Hard to distinguish background from foreground objects sometimes. Good job!

Very nicely presented game, looks really good. The portal is a bit hard to identify, walked past it multiple times without realizing it. Very atmospheric; nice use of third-party assets!

Nicely integrated third-party art assets. The ship is a little sluggish, but it feels pretty nice to play and control overall!

Not sure I feel like I'm escaping but controls feel quite nice though :>

Controls could probably use some more visual hints to be a little less frustrating.  Very nice aesthetics and sound though, nice work!

Nice-looking pixel art graphics! Would have loved a difficulty curve, realized after 200-something points that it wasn't ever going to get any less easy. Overall pleasant.

Definitely impressed, this is a whole-ass game! Feels quite polished; lots of enemies and different patterns. The powerups are cool and I definitely want to get that next high-score. Bravo!

Slightly dissappointed that the IT guy didn't show any actual cat images, fun narrative tho  :)

Feels like quite a disparity of assets with different artstyles, especially given the lack of audio. The gameplay is nice overall, well done!

Interesting concept, although some instructions could be useful ^^;

Was very buggy on my end, hard to access what feels like crucial gameplayt features. The auto-scrolling is very slow. What engine was this made in? Behaved quite strangely. Otherwise, quite decent!

Feel like there's a lot missing here. Maybe a decent first stab at using Unity?

Does not run for us, unfortunately.

Very simple game, intuitive and easy to understand! Could never find that tree, though. Music makes me feel like I'm in an early 2000s video demo.

Scrolling the game viewport is a bit strange, you should be able to hotfix that on the itch.io project page though. Cool game idea, bit hard to understand at first. I like the hand-drawn style.

Fun game! Those ambulances had it coming, I'm sure.

Haha, we also had "toilet overflow" on our list at the beginning as a potential theme but opted for the passenger concept. Also thanks for playing :)

We asked to be able to  upload a fix for the people crashing on loading and were allowed to patch. The game is unchanged content wise from the original. New one is however built without compression to make sure it loads, and we also added desktop build if it still didn't work, as we couldn't reproduce the error ourself.

Thank you, glad you like it :)

Thank you, glad you liked it :D

Web version should be patched from this bug now. If you still can't play, there is also a desktop version to download :)
